No.

Sorry but 5 wins taking us to zero points taking into account all the shite that has followed us all summer does not make Den a lucky gett. Far from it.

His eyes are far too close together and for that reason I don't like him.

He's doing a good job though, you have a siege mentality down at Elland Road without the 15 point deduction I doubt you'd have won five out of five in some ways I thinks its helped you

Seriously other 'big' clubs have came down into this division thinking they are too good for it and ultimately not done that well (Forest and the Wendies in their first season and a half) but this deduction really has spurred you on.

A silly post really. 11 lads on the pitch won the game - there was no luck. You had the best midfield and the majority of possession (second half) - you froze a bit first half I thought, But, and this is the critical bit - we had the best defence and the best attack. And as the game is about stopping goals and scoring goals we came out on top.

Guy with red boots is kinda good but not good enough to wear red boots.

Lucky we weren't out of sight in first half arguably

Maybe I've missed something here. I was refering to the two times we've come across Wise as manager regardless of him doing a good job or bad job overall.
We battered Swindon last season with him as boss and got nothing then outplayed Leeds and got nothing. I'm not saying it's purely down to luck but every game has a large amount of luck involved. The times the ball came off the post it could of fell to another Pools player. Thats not down to judgement, as far as I see it that's luck.

When it did fall to a Pool player whoever it was managed to miss the follow up. Didn't get the impression the team believed in themselves whereas we were here there every flippin where mopping up, clearing off the line etc.

Momentum and confidence counts as much as possession etc.

What is all this shite about Leeds being poor? They defended very well and their forward line were clincal. Yes we knocked the ball about superbly but pretty football doesn't win games, putting the ball in the net does. They did, we didn't. Yes it was great to watch and some of the passing was sublime but If Danny Wilson thinks that performance was as good as we can get then I'm seriously worried - we lost the game and we didn't score Danny! The defence were suicidal on two occasions and the forwards were playing with blindfolds. Other than that, wonderful football.

I see Boydy scored again!

" the defence were suicidal on two occasions " - Mr I, that is my very point. Your boys looked fantastic at times and I wish you nothing but the very best but clean sheets are important. They always get you a draw at the very least.

Same here mate. I went to the match with Dave Brown, a Leeds fan who is an old mate of mine from the forces. We were in a couple of Leeds pubs pre-match on Elland Road without a hint of trouble or disrespect. To be fair to us I think we just had one of those days when the ball just wasn't going to go in and if we play like that against most other teams in this league then we're going to get a hatful. Yesterday we didn't. Good luck for the rest of the season (except the second leg on Boxing day mind you  )

Good point about the Leeds defending Mr I. If we were 2 nil up and getting the battering they were getting, would we have withstood............

You will play worse and win and we (unfortunately) will play better and lose. I hope I can get a ticket for the return but I doubt it. Only 1 in 4 of applicants will be lucky so it's a lottery.

We now seek to climb out of the bottom 4 starting with a very difficult game next Friday, For now zero points feels like winning the cup final.

Enjoy the ride - the championship beckons for pool.

Who said Leeds were shit? I said basically that Leeds on the day had the luck. Regardless of how good they or we are.

As for pointing out the Boydy scored, what's to say he'd score for us? He's in the past, had one good season for us and personally I'd prefer Barker over him any time.

His track record for us and his current record for Orient.

...and his record for Luton? His record for us prior to his loan move or post injury? He can do it in the right circumstances but we have players who work for the team now who are clearly not as talented as him but put what they have they put to more consistant use.

Has it never crossed anyones mind that we might have had an interest in Boyd but Luton wouldn't buy him from us one season for 500k and just give him back to us for nowt as soon as that?

I also heard that he is allegedly on an obscene wage down there.

Boydy was about to be substituted when he scored ...he said himself that if the ball had went out of play he would have been taken off .... with 20 minutes to go.
