Been looking at the fixtures and Eastleigh / Gateshead / Sutton / Altrincham & F. Green have a difficult run of games. Then Rochdale Yeovil Oldham Barnet next most difficult games. Then York are next. And finally Pools have the easiest run. The biggest problem in this swamp.... it can appear you have a banker on paper then suddenly " Wham bam thank you mam " you get a sucker punch. One of the biggest obstacles in this swamp is the very poor standard of the officials but that applies to all teams. D. S. seems to have installed a no nonsense mental strengh and brilliant attitude into a good team of extremely hard working players. If that attitude and commitment stays solid who knows how many points we will have at the 10 game stage. Anyway I reckon we could very well be top of the pile by then with maybe a bit of luck. Then Barnet Eastleigh F.Green York Southend & Sutton. It is as Loyal rightly says a run of easier games on paper but it's never that straight forward but the opertunity to push on and get a real promotion push up and going. The time will come when the fixture lists are reversed but hopefully by then we are established in top 3.

watched a bit of Dag v Halifax

Easy to say but look like 2 mid table teams who will do fuck all--D&R prob should have won but didnt then gave away a goal late on

both sides had some tidy footballers but both also gave the ball away in areas I havent seen us do yet this season

Gateshead will pipe Yeovil in the early game tomo--mark my words

I think Gateshead will win 2-1 but after a hour of trying to break them down. Yeovil will score first then lose.

I watched some too and tend to agree. Neither team kicked the ball in the air 100% of time like Tamworth so at least we know that won't happen again when it comes to play them.

Dagenham were 're slightly better in the final 3rd. Josh Umerah came on as sub for Dagenham and achieved nothing what so ever, very poor.

These two teams are nothing to be concerned about.

Looks likely 4 wins required from next 5 to get to top 3.
I am now pinning my slightly shredded hope/faith on the big fella.

I don't think this squad is balanced, the midfield is too "samey", the defence lacks pace and the front line although more than capable lacks service, until these 3 fundamental elements are addressed this team will just bumble through the season achieving very little.

agree with all that part from the defense lacking pace. its never been exposed yet and doubt there is a team in this league capable of doing it. thats the annoying bit struggling in a bang average at best league.

You think our defence has pace?, well that's one thing we definitely disagree on.
