A good article by Robbie Stelling in the mail looking at various players mainly available on Frees.

Some cracking players in that list. I would love us to sign Tom White again - him and that Kellerman in CM with Mancini
Jack Hunter too didnt realise he was from round here.

John Bostock released by Notts County age 32yrs midfielder. Was once sold to Spurs for £700,000. Played a major part in Notts County promotion and a top player. He got total respect off the County fans and although 32 years I believe he would be a big asset for Pools. Before anyone says we need pace pace and more pace I agree but if finances allow he would be a major squad signing.

Paddy Madden has left Stockport after failing to agree on a contract, is probably on more than 6 of our players though.

John Bostock would be outrageous for this level again - 32 is no age aslong as you are fit and hungry still. He would walk into any side the form hes in tbh. Cannot believe he has been let go. Enzo Boldjewin also has been let go. Always thought he was a nuisance and a good outlet to have from the bench. We should be looking at these type of players for me.

Tinkler from Gateshead would be a brilliant signing

Pools read the Bunker.
So we will continue to help them out without agent fees because we love them.

jamie stott, left sided central defender has left our friends at halifax. played in most games during the last couple of seasons for them. would make a good signing if we play 3 at the back and covering for fergy,s defensive frailties.

And another one - Tylor Golden. In his mid-20s like Stott and also played a lot of games for Halifax. Wonder if they're on Pools' radar? Neither are from the North-East though.

We had Jamie Stott on trial our first summer back in league 2. Challinor didn't rate him as a league 2 player at the time but he seems to have done very well since. Only issue is do we need him with Parkes there already?

we need both as none of our defenders will play 46 games next season even if they are not injury prone. if they are doing their job they,ll miss some with suspensions anyway and the odd knocks they should be getting.
