So the richest club tops the pile again, but for me the team of the year so far is our friends from the Palace. Since Woy retired and they brought in the Austrian coach their footy has been superb, their young players are fantastic and the kid they bought from Blackburn, Adam Wharton must be the buy of the season. If they can hang on to them all then the futures bright for the club. SE 25 must be loving it.

They’ve only recently got their forwards back from injury, which may explain their surge of form.

Thanks to having 115 charges over past financial irregularities put on hold for the full season by the Premier League. Allegedly the hearing will take place "in the near future" but I'll believe it when I see it.

Agree about Palace BTW.

I see Liverpool have appointed a new manager. I am sure he will slot right in.

Probably a ‘big’ fine which will be peanuts to City.

A3points deduction would be very reasonable.

When Rangers were found guilty and relegated to the bottom SFL tier there was shock that the The Scottish Authorities would dare to go head to head with such a massive institution as Rangers. I'd hazard a guess that no one was more shocked than Rangers themselves.
Have any other Scottish clubs faced the same penalty since? The example given has been duly noted then and so far it has had the desired effect. Will our authorities dare to do the same With Man City.

it will all depend on £££££££, the main reason the whole thing exists for at the top. think forest and everton are good proof of that.

It wasn’t a penalty, Rangers went into administration £134 million in debt, different scenario from City, they were lucky only to relegated to the bottom tier of the Scottish Leagues.

Yes different scenario but the SFA didn't relent, even though they were under great pressure and no other Scottish club has allowed itself to face the same consequence was my drift but I agree the difference is there.
It is a penalty though but for a different reason.
