My blue box was emptied and this was the scene from my window afterwards

The binmen came along to empty my green bin & left this view

Try and sue them for dropping litter - at least you have some evidence.

They'll just turn around and say it wasn't deliberate littering, which it wasn't. "Our council workers collect x amount of tonnes of litter per day, and due to the volume of rubbish collected, unfortunately there is always a small risk that some will be dropped and not seen"

A binman dropping a can is not the same as you deliberately throwing a tab end out of your car, and therefore I'd say you're completely wasting your time. It bears no relevance to your alleged offence and if you put stock in this it will look like you are trying to dodge out of your offence and shift blame.

can i just say nothing will be done about this, my dad placed a bin bag on top of our wheelie bin and they took it off and placed it onto the floor, my old man rang up and they stated they cannot pick rubbish of the side of the road for health reasons and our "opratives" have been told not to.
