Will it be getting re-laid, because it definitely needs a bit of TLC.

It's all good having a nice level green pitch but we need a proper team to play on it.

In the IOR days the top surface was removed and it was re seeded, is this still the case now ?
Maybe it has been but with the amount of rain we have nowadays it doesn’t do the playing surface any good. I bet the groundsman cringes when he sees the players sliding on their knees possibly damage the surface celebrating a goal.

I reckon the grazing of sheep and cattle on it during the week might be affecting it, but it is a welcome income source.

I mentioned the pitch 3 months ago and got slated for it. Its nowhere near the standard it was and that counts for the rain we have had.

To be fair last season was the worst I’ve looked for years, but I’m gonna carry on using up my stockpile of flares and platforms. bbolt
