on another topic even the labour party are on to this new nike england shirt with no st.georges cross on it but some odd badge that looks like nothing like it on the back. we must be the only country in the world who tries its best to get rid of their own flags. imagine the yanks doing this to their stars and stripes.

Wonder what they pay per shirt, call me a cynic.
It’s no good people going on just about the cross, but shouldn’t they be made in this country too.

Ask Mike Ashley about prices he has loads of experience about shopping abroad. That's why he has struggled for many years financially. He even had to sell his beloved Newcastle United to pay his energy bills.

It's a good point you make regarding shirts etc being made here. I would happily pay say £5 or £10 more for a shirt made here because it would help jobs etc and stop this sweat shop crap.

Currently the England shirts are £125 for the Euro shirts, you would pay £135 for one if they were made in the U.K. ? I think you would need to stick more than £10 on them as well.
I have bought 2 Real Madrid kits here in Thailand, shorts and shirts for my 8 year old U.K. Grandson, all the logos, good quality, Bellingham and the No. 5 on the back, £7.50 each,
There is a good chance they will have been manufactured in the exact same factory as the ones they sell in the U.K., it’s just profiteering on a huge scale.

guess that could be very true. for an england shirt you can more or less buy all the three pools new shirts for next season. comparing to the amount of england ones that will be sold thats a drop in the ocean. in theory they should be cheaper than a club shirt as they,ll sell more than even man.u do. rip off britain, and some are still shocked these things are still happening.

An 8 year old who uses the internet, probably has football games on his X Box etc and is familiar with what’s going on in the football world nowadays, his world doesn’t revolve round the Premier League.

he needs to be put onto the straight and narrow if he does not grow up with a complex by ignoring the premier league. could easily end up a poolie with a life full of doom, gloom and regrets.

Real Madrid looks like a good idea for the lad after seeing that shambles last night. It could be a lot worse for his long term health if you tried to get him to support Pools.

I have tried a few times but being a Poolie drives me to drink. I either need a drink after watching the crap on show or I celebrate the odd good win with a drink.

He’s trained to do that, he opened the first canine booze suppliier business in the town.
When you saw him he’ll have been doing his party trick, gets them drunk on one bottle and refills them personally from his own bladder till his customer passes out the little capitalist tinker.
That’s why we took Ruby on to increase capacity…..Gaza eh? Were the police there by any chance, plus TV and press as well … although in all fairness I told Ratboy to wear glasses and a Hitler moustache to confuse the authorities.

Yesterday afternoon driving along Seaton front I saw a man in his 50’s dressed like a teenager on an electric skateboard, zooming along.
My Dad always said kids who tried to act grown up too early always regress in middle age ( he used language more ‘industrial’ though than ‘regress’)
Here was proof, we really are going backwards.

If I said I passed Adolf Hitler wearing a bra and panties riding along on the back of a giant tortoise while picking his nose with a Stanley knife and playing ‘I did it my way’ on a mouth organ you’d have said exactly the same thing more or less. I can hear it now……What’s the problem with what the megalomaniac cross dressing, mass murdering genocidal maniac was doing, don’t be so judgemental, the evil monster enjoys being out and about and same as you with your dogs, he wasn’t doing any harm was he….?

Here was proof, we really are going backwards.

What’s the problem with what the fella was doing, don’t be so judgmental, the fella enjoys being out and same as you with your dogs, he wasn’t doing anyone any harm was he ?

If I said I passed Adolf Hitler wearing a bra and panties riding along on the back of a giant tortoise while picking his nose with a Stanley knife and playing ‘I did it my way’ on a mouth organ you’d have said exactly the same thing more or less. I can hear it now……What’s the problem with what the megalomaniac cross dressing, mass murdering genocidal maniac was doing, don’t be so judgemental, the evil monster enjoys being out and about and same as you with your dogs, he wasn’t doing any harm was he….?
Wasn’t you on the skateboard was it.

Snowy I could have predicted your comment, if it was Hitler I would have called the Police and have him arrested for carrying an offensive weapon, Stanley knife. Eas the skateboarder doing you or anyone else any harm, live and let live, Snowy you want to get out a bit more, get yourself a passport, and see how people live in other parts of the world and what they get up to, there are more extreme events than older men running round on skateboards.
I suppose you have the same opinion of older men playing walking football, fellas trying to relive their childhood.
Snowy get sat in your chair, put your slippers on stoke your pipe up and watch reruns of Dads Army.

I've got to say Jamie you do ask for it.

Ask for what Derwent, sticks and stones comes to mind, I don’t like people being judgmental more so when they criticise others when they don’t even know the person or they do some thing different from the norm.
You can take any ‘hobby’ up in later life, what’s age got to do with it ?
Older men play walking football some well into their 60s, keeps them active.

for somebody like me who refuses to dress like an average 77 year old does i have to agree. if i was a woman i,d be classed as mutton dressed as lamb but i do not give a toss. at least it saves my lad some money on clothes when i pass stuff down to him. never wanted to get old and have not been in practise for it years like some including a king we have now got.

Exactly my argument I don’t give a s** , I am in my 70s with what people think about me what I do or about my dress sense although the thong does get stuck in my bum in the hot climate.
My granddaughter has just turned 15, she has what I thought was a boyfriend turns out it’s a girl, so what her life, if she is happy so be it.

Every one is entitled to their own opinion but I can’t remember where I have been shot down, enlighten me, btw your quote took a bit of deciphering obviously you weren’t top of the class in English.
Everything I post on the Bunker is based on fact, because posters don’t agree with me doesn’t me to say I have been shot down.

It wasn’t a pretty sight, even the dogs looked. You aren’t far off though, more Jools Holland but unfeasibly tall.
