I am surprised to find out his address was given as Durham Street Hartlepool. I was not aware that some players are based in the town these days. sctatchinghead

we shouldnt of let him go until proven guilty - not been funny but we could of done with him in Midfield the last god knows how many games.

he wasnt that good but he gave some effort and put a tackle in too - also had an eye for goal and wasnt scared to shoot. better than Crawford for me anyways !

its not about how good or bad he was it was a case of letting the lad go before he was found guilty that did not sit right with me. you are guilty of nothing until a jury decides you are and not the day you are just charged with something.

Without knowing the full facts we can speculate all day. It could be that having been hit with the charge he decided his head wasn't in the right place to give all his concentration and effort to the cause and wanted time to think and prepare his defence. Or something completely different altogether. Who knows.

I think it’s a good idea to keep identities hidden for all party’s till a case is proven.

True.....years ago a friends son was charged and found guilty. Six months later he was released after the girl told two friends at a party ( drunk ) she had stitched him up for turning down her advances the night she said something happened. banghead She got community service and a slap on the wrist. He was never the same lad after that, he stopped going out and to this day has not dated a girl since. He used to love going to music venues and nights out with his mates but now just a shell of that lad left.

yes, once charged that means you are guilty in the eyes of many people. plus depending on how severe the charge is i do not think your address or place of work should get a mention either if its something the majority see it as a minor crime. on the other hand if a murder takes place and the defendent is proved to be guilty there name should be mentioned no matter the age of the person involved.
