Over the years i have been going to the Dilshad in Church Street i have seen a few things.
The pair of knickers in the tree was a highlight, as was the Mr Whippy type turd left in the gents urinals.
The bloke who fell asleep in this curry was something to see as was the pissed guy who was trying to get to the toilet who stumbled and put his hand into someones curry.
A friend of mine found a crate staple in his curry and summoned the waiter. The waiter said simply "thank you" (as if he had been looking for it) and walked away.
We gave nicknames to the waiters........Smack Twat, Roy Hogan and Farouk (his name was something else but he answered to it).
Also outside the said establishment a class lass had a dispute with a taxi driver. She jumped on the bonnet dropped her knickers and pissed on the windscreen. The driver in fairness put the wipers on.
One Christmas a group of us went to the place every night from 23rd December till 2nd January (not xmas day). I kept my Access Card statement for years as proof but unfortunately cant find it now.It was always preceded by 6 pints of Strongarm. I never suffered from constipation.
Great days!!

Spot on Snowy - & the little billy-do machine you put them in, underneath the receipt so that the card details were embossed on the receipt, & swiped the roller across. They used them on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Dining Trains until recently, & may still do so if they can't get a wi-fi signal for their card reader

Access was a British credit card brand launched by Lloyds Bank, Midland Bank and National Westminster Bank in 1972 to rival the already established Barclaycard. It became defunct in 1996, when it was taken over by MasterCard.

The wife told me most companies keep the ‘swipe’ machines in case of a power cut.

Roads that were adequately maintained- that weren't covered in potholes so deep they would have required a workmen's tent!

Speaking of which never seen a workman's tent for years - was it just somewhere they ate their bait, when it was lashing down? sctatchinghead

The ’Anne’….went down to see it with a bloke I knew and the cars were lined up in the car park that’s near Surfside and grassed over now.
Sea was a bit rough and when a low flying half a breeze block crashed onto his bonnet he did the fastest recorded reverse I’ve ever seen….. never liked the bloke

A179 through Hart Village before the new part was built. And the current footpath this side of the Village used to be the road.
A19 through Billingham before the new part was built.

Sadly that's true but of course I totally understand that. It was the lies regarding Pearl Harbour that brought America into WW2. It was the lies regarding weapons of mass destruction ( Blair and Bush ) that give these vile people a way into stealing the riches of many countries. Devide and Concur ....whoever created all these countries from what was one world people hit the evil jackpot. rakxe

Back I the early 70s I lived in Fulthorpe Avenue up near the Saxon Pub. On a Sunday we used to make up two teams and have a kick about on Saxon field. We had Andy Linighan David Linighan from our Street who always turned out. Andy back then would have been about 12 yrs old but around 6ft tall. Although he was obviously good in the air he was nowt special with his bamby legs and very very easy to nutmeg. One Sunday during one of our games Andy pointed out a young lad who was watching and said " look at the clip of him " . The young lad was dressed up in the Leeds strip from top to bottom including those pennent type thingy's that Leeds had around the top of the socks. At half time the lad come over and asked could he play, surprisingly he was the same age as Andy although very small and looked 10. Andy said no and laughed but the lad said I am the best player
here. He went on to say he was at Leeds United yesterday (Saturday) with his mam & dad because Leeds invited them down due to Leeds wanting to sign him. He said he was given the full strip and new boots by the club as a goodwill gesture for the future. We agreed he could play and play he did he ran rings around me and Andy we couldn't get close to him. He was cocky and arrogant but by hell could this boy play. He said he was going to play for Leeds and England and his name was Paul Dobson from Clavering. After 20 minutes of torturing us Andy finally clipped his heels and sent him crashing down on the penalty spot that had a large puddle in the middle. Dobber got up told Andy to fuck off you dirty loser and started to cry and said " My mother is going to kill you when she see's the state of my strip, it's my birthday " and walked off. Never ever came back what a shame.
