I always laugh when these people describe them selves as the ‘Skateboard Community’…..why?….. Is there a small village of skateboarders where all the residents regardless of age zip about on skateboards doing tricks?

I hate to see selfish people on trains & buses who refuse to give up a seat for a elderly person / pregnant women / parent & baby etc. How have we allowed ourselves to stoop this low as human beings. Remember my first trip to London by train when I was seventeen. I got off Kings Cross went to tube station where I was waiting with hundreds of other people. The tube arrived and everyone pilled forward a old bloke fell to the ground and everyone behind him simply stepped over him and got on the train. rakxe I was shocked at how low people could go but was told that's how it is in London. It appears that horrible selfish attitude is now everywhere which is so so sad. banghead

Waiting for a bus in London in my younger days in the 70s no queues, when the bus arrived every one made a dash to get on it.

Funnily enough there was a court case last week in the Mail of a woman urinating in the street. Now I don’t approve, but the fines she had to pay were mind popping running into hundreds of pounds….and what exactly are the ‘victim surcharges’ they slap on, who was the victim…. sctatchinghead

I gather that the victim surcharge goes into a fund to pay compensation to victims of crime. So for example if some old codger gets beaten up and robbed by some penniless drug addict, they would get paid compensation from the money charged to those who had committed other crimes. Of course the penniless drug addict pays nowt to no one.

With any luck I’ll be flying to my timeshare in Tibshelf Services. bbolt

Bought and industrial size glue gun a couple of years back…the wife asked me to glue a plaque on the wall with te dog leads on in the hallway…said it would save drilling.
Warmed it up as recommended marked the applied the glue and stuck it in place…lasted two days then dropped off of it’s own accord, but oddly never never left a mark on the wall……it’s in the useless tools cupboard along with the drill sharpener, Dremil and chain saw. :angry-tappingfoot:

Never got that idea of ritualising it, that said, Ratboy is what’s called a Black Fell Terrier, specially bred by farmers to produce a bigger, bulkier Patterdale on steroids to actually sleep in the fields for two months of lambing to kill foxes who steal the lambs …..same result but one serves a purpose the other is a social thing.

plus you never see someone coming from a pit or steelworks in the past getting on their horse to join the local hunt. at least the fox has a chance hunted by a single dog brad to kill em and rabbits the same if you let your greyhound or lurcher chase them. as someone said if fox hunting was done by the likes of us we,d be locked up but not if run by lord or colonal somebody in their fancy uniforms.

If foxes are a major problem to farmers then shoot them don't get trained dogs to tear them apart for a so called gentleman's sport. It's got to be one of the most cruilest things ever. rakxe

well they shoot and trap other animals and birds without turning it into a sport of the rich if they are deamed a problem for them. how many times have a fox hunting group been shown in travel documentary films in the past to depict english country life for no reason i can see.

dogs are far easier to control than kids. less outside influences that are against you and there is no reason to have either if you do not want. none of us have bought a dog by accident but none of know if we are not here because of one. the old buggers aint going to tell us are they.

Every time the wife’s shouting at the screen that they haven’t got a clue and shouldn’t have a dog…..and she’s right…if you can’t train a dog, forget having kids.

dogs are far easier to control than kids. less outside influences that are against you and there is no reason to have either if you do not want. none of us have bought a dog by accident but none of know if we are not here because of one. the old buggers aint going to tell us are they.

Well we always know who our mothers are, but my Eskimo brother and Japanese sister have got me thinking….surely not! bbolt

just hang on to the tele control before they get their paws on that.

Oddly, our lass it’s watching ‘Dogs behaving badly’ and they sit at her feet watching it with her…load of bollocks in my opinion.

it should be renamed dogs behaving as dogs or owners getting the wrong dog.

convinced that me and my sister are safe as our ma was more interested in the shops and the pictures but she feels we have a few half brothers and sister knocking about with his reputation and playing football and working miles from home.

Knowing the lad in question he probably droned on about sodding golf, she fell asleep, went into a coma, ended up on life support and became a cabbage and signalled by blinking her eyes it was worth it to get out of his van.
To be fair he smoked a pipe when he was 19 to look mature

Lads of that age can fantasise a peck on the cheek goodnight into a porn film scenario in their immature minds no poroblem, he was so naive I was surprised he wasn’t wearing shorts and a satchel when he turned up for work on his first day…mind you he did eventually marry a stunner…till she spoke…. and what God gave her in looks, he took away brain cells.
