There's hope for us 75's+ as Neil Warnock is expected to be named the new Aberdeen Manager today.

The first time he has forayed across the border

That's an almighty commute for him, I'm sure he lives in Cornwall. Always liked him since I first saw him playing for us. A great character amongst a bland majority of pc managers.

Remember him scoring direct from the corner he was taking in the Town End.

Doubt he will achieve much, none of the teams can compete with Rangers or Celtic currently or will in the future due to limited funds and attracting players to the far flung granite city.

After he left Boro he said he was retiring and had promised his wife he would finally walk away and spend the rest of his time at home in Plymouth. The bloke is riddled with football and can't even put his family before football despite promising her he would. Let's be honest apart from when he was Plymouth manager he has spent every single management year away from his family. This bloke has broken every promise he made to his wife about retiring which is terrible really when you consider both he and his wife are well into there 70s now. He should be spending the last few years as a real husband. He is a wealthy man and not short of a bob or two. He will almost certainly die in a managers job it's the most selfish attitude possible. Have your cake and eat it springs to mind

Obviously his wife doesn't hold your views otherwise she wouldn't have spent all these years married to him?

Don't think he moved up here as Boro boss, think he was up for 3 or 4 days a week. Maybe they prefer time apart after decades of it?

He said on sky sports after leaving boro he was done now with management and its finally time to retire and spend much needed time with his wonderful wife. He said he has constantly promised her " this is the last management job " and then admitted he keeps breaking the promise to her and letting her down. He said " this time I am 100% retiring I owe her that much at least for being extremely patient and tolerant over many years " he also stated " he had been selfish really but football is like a drug to him " and there will be " no going back " this time. He basically is taking the piss out of a wonderful woman. What's she to do leave him in her 70s sctatchinghead He is in a win win situation at the moment but it will all end in tears.

Are you his father sure you are old enough sctatchinghead Feel sorry for your wife if you believe Warnock is a good husband  Maybe your wife accepts the way you are because she has got used to being put down over the 60 odd years or so of your marriage. Move on with the times man it's now 2024 not 1964
