Am I alone in feeling a little satisfaction, even smug, that two plastic clubs are nailed to the relegation positions?

just hope that the teams 3rd bottom and above can get a bit of form to keep those where they belong.

I wouldn't class Sutton as a plastic club in the forest green or Salford bracket. A small club yes but not plastic. They have been around a long time and managed to get promoted without buying promotion. Only reason I wouldn't want them getting relegated is they always seem to beat us!. Forest green can feck off though

think the exploits of sutton as a non league club os a bit overated. they spent most of their life they were an ameteur club like bishops and only got into the top non league tier less than 10 years back. harly a traditional force in the non league game as teams like telford, macclesfield, boston and hereford were. just another of the number of clubs that are present in the 21st century hotbed of football inside the M25. call em what you like for me all these clubs like em are just a good excuse to miss the game when they are in town and you organise your non visits around these clubs when the fixtures come out. its not just old gits like me who miss games against these clubs but my lad in his 30,s also miss them and he,s a season ticket owner.

I hated Sutton the first season we played them.
They took gamesmanship, cheating in my book to a level I'd never seen before.

Unfortunately we will end up playing these teams, not sure we do too well against either of them. If were going to be in the conference for years, lets get some northern clubs in it.

We could get Scunthorpe back next season from NLN, plus whoever comes up with them.

I am more happy its clubs who wont be expected to dominate next year----though Forest Green may throw some money at it

I really want Oldham up this year as well as its going to happen so lets get it out of the way so they arent another Chesterfield next season

Indeed I saw that the other week and thought the same

Don't think Sutton would have gone up the year they did, had it not been for the plastic pitch. Same with Betty's boys and the stadium of plastic cake the year before. And Bromley this year. It's clearly a massive advantage and think they should be banned in our league, given the size of the prize for success. Just need an owner with a little bit of coin, a team full of giant thugs who punt it long and someone who can put the ball in the net. Don't even need a crowd or fanbase.

As for Forest Green, went there the year they won the league, our first season back. Got to be the most unlikely place for a football league ground. Would never of found it without a sat nav. Nailsworth has a population of about 5k and the. surrounding area is rolling countryside. Even with Vince's cash, no way can they sustain a football league club long term. Once he gets bored like Max Griggs did at Rushden they'll fold.

I'm surprised they still turn up for fixtures, as they decided not to bother once it became evident that they were going to be relegated from the conference. A disgrace of a club and should have been booted out of the vanarama into the Facking Kent league for taking the piss.

when the money men leave clubs without a real local fanbase will always struggle. so many of fans of both those clubs will travel miles just for a home game. fine if the club is doing well but they,ll be the first ones missing if bad days arrive. i could never watch forset green even if i lived in that estate at the top of the hill due to what vance stands for in his life. it would finish me as a poolie if someone similar took over from raj.
