He's off to Field Mill for a months loan, nothing on the official site but this is on the Nottingham Evening Post site:

STAGS SIGN MIDFIELDER ON LOAN

Mansfield have snapped up experienced midfielder Lee Bullock on a month's loan from League One Hartlepool.

The 26-year-old is due to arrive at Field Mill tomorrow and goes straight into the squad to face Stockport County at home on Saturday. Bullock began his career at York in 1998 where he made more than 150 appearances and earned a reputation as a goalscoring midfielder.

He was then signed by Cardiff for £100,000 in 2004 but never really hit it off at Ninian Park and moved on to Hartlepool in 2005. But he has yet to start a League One game for Danny Wilson's side this season and is eager to get back into first team action. "We have taken Lee for as month to start with and we will see how it goes from there," said Stags boss Billy Dearden.

"He's got an eye for goal from midfield and he likes to get forward. He's also got a bit more experience than we've got in there at the moment. "Lee hasn't played for the Hartlepool first team this season, but I saw him play for their reserves against Hull last week, so he has been getting some games." Bullock's arrival at Mansfield may not be the only one before the close of the permanent transfer window on Friday.

Dearden has also made an offer for another unnamed player - which would be a permanent move. He said: "There is another player I am trying to bring in permanently and it may come off or may not. "But that move would have to be concluded by Friday."

Not bad news.

I don't think he's as bad as some make out, but he's quite a way off our first team and either getting games on loan or even moving on permanently wouldn't be a disaster for Pools.

Anybody think it might be to free up a wage from Pools point of view with somebody else coming in before the deadline?

so why was he given a new contract at the end of last season ???? there was never any possibility of him starting a game unless the plague broke out.

sweeney cant even get on the bench so bullock had no fookin chance.

utter madness.

Probably 'cos Willie Bolands a bit injury prone and Sweeney and Liddle are more attacking stylee.
