Even we have turned a manager with a good record into someone scrambling for any result. If you dont back your manager with quality then its a matter of time before he goes.

Im sure Sings 6 month probation period will be on his mind.
The 3 year contract more for compo reasons.
No Chance JA still be at Pools in 2.45 years.

If he has any sense he will walk, get out while his reputation is in tact.

How dare you call me a Darlo fan, then come out out with this nonsense, you hypocrite. :angry-tappingfoot:

We were never going to win it. At least we can put out attention to the league now.

We may, however possibly, have a better chance at FA Trophy.

I've been supporting Pools for the best part of 40 odd years. In all that time the two results that have pissed me off the most are the loss at home to Crawley in April this year where we needed to win at home against a poor team on a run of bad results to stay in the league (and then Pools played like they didn't give a toss and lost 2-0) and today (where we played like we gave less of a toss and lost 2-0).

If John Askey says the word "unlucky" in his interview then I've had enough of him. (and yes I do realise he hasn't got a pot to piss in so far as signing new players is concerned (and that's down to the Chairman) but this was bloody NL north Chester at home - to get into the first round proper of the FA cup). Absolute dogshite.

If I was the chairman of Pools and I watched the last two games where in one the players gave a very good account of themselves and then, seven days later watched the very same players put that performance on, I would be seriously having urgent discussions with my coaching staff.
I would also be extremely reluctant to back them any further until I was at least satisfied that there was more consistency being shown.
My worst experience this season was at Oxford where we snatched a hammering from the jaws of victory.

Inconsistency is a sign of poor players.

Honest enough interview on BBC Tees, didn't think most of the players wanted it enough, too much 0assing across the back line, too much dicking about when we had chances to get the ball I to dangerous areas, etc
All true, then why did he leave it so late to make changes?

The C word is the problem ok ….consistency.
They are capable of performing then fail to perform which means we’ll be finishing mid table if it isn’t sorted….if we’re lucky.

I don't think he has anything to bring off the bench. Last season he had the trump card of MacDonald who would come, he'd switch to 4,3,3, and we'd pin teams back. Remember that final 15 mins versus Leyton Orient at home? We absolutely battered them. We don't have one pacy, trickery style player in our team. In the main, we are legitimately playing through Hendrie on the right hand-side. A capable player, but not a player who can beat a couple of men and work a chance.

Inconsistency is a sign of poor players.

Especially in Div 5 v a Div 6 outfit.
Again its past blameing the players.
The majority only sign for Pools because no otha team wants them.
Featherstone back to normal eg etc etc.

Its not long back JA was stateing im no fan of the loan market rather have decent permanent signings.
Welcome to the same problem as the other gaffers bfor ya.
Featherstone n a young kid aint the answer to achievement for sure.
But we are were we are and i suppose exchange our different opinions to this mess.

well seaman managed to do this earlier in the season with mancini in the side but his form dipped possibly due to having no clue how to defend unlike hendrie who looks a safer pair of hands but still looks like a defender getting forward.
