Joe Grey MoM for me, a great attacking midfielder display today from him, tackling back, runs off the ball, creating things in and around the box, he had it all. His contribution for the 3rd goal was outstanding from winning the ball on the halfway line to the final cross. Well done Joe, now you've set a standard you need to keep it going.

He had a great game, had he started the other night instead of Finney I think we'd have won that game as well.

I'm afraid a bigger invisible man is Wallace. He's quietly joined the long-term injury list after hardly featuring. Was he fit enough to sign in the first place?

Admittedly it's only one game- but could that be Joe's best position
On commentary it was mentioned several times how well he linked up with Hendrie.

Ben Clark was excellent summarising on commentary and. cheered the opener before it hit the back of the net. Spoke about Pools in glowing terms throughout and sounded like he wanted to be there. Very much the opposite of Mickey Barron and his constant reference to Hartlepool.

Tees obviously think he did a reasonable job as he's doing the Chester game next week too.

Aye it makes a pleasant change for two of the midfield to be fighting for MOM.
Very positive signs.
