Driving out this afternoon and a huge tailback and assumed it was the road works all over the town, but no it was a bloody invalid chariot humming along the middle of the road at a sedate 3 mph commanded by what looked like a corpse …… in fact how he never actually came to be one is down to pure undiluted luck  .

do not mind if these people were actually disabled. so many are just bloody idle and have no pride in themselves. know one lass who was always in one and thought she had lost the use of her legs till i found out her hobby was line dancing. you could not make it up. if i eventually have to get into one it will be the last resort of a despirate old git.

I regularly see a couple down Seaton who steam along the prom like the fleet leaving port..always in perfect formation alongside each other, they slow down for no one.

the council are missing out here. they could hold a regular event for these things with the prize of go faster stripes for the winner. could publish a version of max power with hints on customising them and adding more power and battery life. the number about it would be a best seller. the seaton carew grand prix or pricks whichever suits em best.

I’m booking my seat for the the event where a souped up buggy with obese ‘pilot’ attempts to jump over seven double decker buses…if it succeeds, we’ll need catapult arrester gear to stop it.

How on earth can someone look at another and determine their condition.

At times we spend too much time looking/judging others, When we do not know the full story.

And i,m certain that some are swinging the lead.
But if you have ever had to deal with the DWP you may think twice.

do not think the DWP comes into it. i had experiance bring up a step son with spina bifada who spent most of his life in a wheel chair who would have given anything to become an abled bodied person. it boiled his piss seeing others pretending to be bad going around in motorised so called mobility scooters with little if anything wrong with them or a walking stick. he felt they were taking the piss out of others like him who deserveed a hell of a lot more money and sympathy they got. once when you saw someone with a wheelchair or walking stick you knew because of the pride people once had they were totally genuine. not anymore.

I know them, have done since primary school.

This topic was not about disability.
This post was about an idiot driving down the centre of the road and risking life and limb, whether he was disabled or not his irrelevant, it was dangerous and inconsiderate, even disabled people have idiots in their numbers like everyone else.

A stern letter with exclamation marks does the trick.
