possibly it might be the time to give the lad on loan from harrogate a chance if he is showing up well in training. think dixon is an improvement on his predessor but still has a mistake in him. thats a couple of similar goals he has conceeded this season where he looks to have the ball covered but it went in.

Pools struggled all game to stop crosses coming in - especially little dinks to the far post from around the penalty area. They'd have won by more if their finishing was better.

And doesn’t have the same shot stopping ability based on evidence so far, though his distribution is better

Real weakness is amount of crosses we let in, say I quietly but a right back/right wing back who closes down the cross much better would make a diff
