Evidently Mancini got a standing ovation from the Southend crowd. Don’t see that too often. Very gratuitous of them I hope they stay in the league.

Johny Askey drove to France, in a Retro Mini, to sign Mancini... Or something along those lines.

The Southend Fans forum was a wash with plaudits about our new French No.8.

they also thought that once their embargo is lifted they can make an offer for him - one member of their forum actually was serious in thinking they could come in and snap up the best players they have seen in this league so far, Mancini been one of them. Absolutely deluded - they dont have a pot to piss in never mind try and fund the transfer of the best CM in the NL !!!

Mancini is a stand out player so if he avoids injury someone will make an offer for him. Just hope Raj makes sure we get a lot of dosh for him.

Agree with above , But also the add ons are just as important.
IE Goals, Sell on clause etc.

It was polite applause as oppose to a standing ovation but still not something you see very often

If he keeps this form up the best we can hope for is having him for the full
Season and getting us up.
For now I am just going to enjoy watching him play, certainly a bit different to what we typically see in ability and style

I actually think he will get better as well as his decision making improves with more game time

I think he is improving all the time. I saw him at Barnet and their were flashes of his ability: close control beating a player or two but often no end product and to be fair, the whole team were not quite right that day. At Southend he did so much more and with the end product. I especially like the way he gets stuck in: he is quite happy with a robust challenge which you dont often see with ball players at our level.
Can't believe Accrington let him walk away.

John Askey went to France, in a Retro Mini,
Brought us back a midfielder, Anthony Mancini.
