Danny Johnson seems to be the obvious one.

Chris Hussey of Stockport. He played in the playoffs and looked a good player. Accrington would know better.

Johnson and quite a few others on that list will stay in League 2 if they possibly can.

The only potential reason for some optimism with Johnson is the way he was interacting with the Pools players at the Stockport game. He still seems to get on well with a few of the lads.

he is a good player and very steady performer with an excellent left foot. however i have heard he is another who lives south of even stockport and it was a bit of a joint decision him leaving them.

again the bettter ones seem to be from southern clubs. the rest seem to include many close to the end of their careers and kids given a chance but not up for it. a hell of a lot depends on their attitude of just excepting a contract and then go through the motions for the oldies and for the young lads the wish to knuckle down to get their careers back on track.

I was referring to Danny Johnson. Ryan might be a bit more of a realistic possibility.

yes, ryan is a good national league player where danny would only come to a club able to outbid a league club wages. just cannot see pools ever getting into that catogary whoever realistically will own the club in the future.

Affiliation is about money, how many badge kissing players have we seen and the next thing they are off because they have had a better offer.
How many players who have played for Pools have ever supported them as a kid, if there was they would still be off if they received a better offer.

another thing fans just cannot get. unlike us who have a contract for life at pools they are really on loan to the club for the time of their contract and will go on to better or worse things once it is up. we only need em to do their best in the time at pools without the need to be a lifetime fan of the club.
