Interesting article and a good point of comparison with where Pools are now. They fought off a 'hostile takeover' by becoming a fan owned club last season but struggled to compete on the pitch because of their limited resources. Now they are looking for "the right investment" going forward. Goes without saying that Pools have double the fan base of Dale.

Pinning their hopes for next season on "investing in greater data analysis" in recruitment will have the old skool types on here shaking their heads :lol:

Unfortunately Pools have debt of around £1.5 to £2 million debt and the current owner wants his money back so currently no way the fans can take the club over.
