Last night while my son was helping me upgrade my phone (essential as I am 69, don't understand these things and senile according to some), it turned out the guy on the phone was a Darlo fan. Son and I got chatting to him inbetween me getting my upgrade. He thought it was hillarious us being Pools fans and he gave me an excellent deal so thanks mate. Raj, Reynolds, The White Elephant Stadium got mentioned and he talked about the 0-3 Darlo home defeat to Pools at the White Elephant stadium, although he got the score wrong as 1-3. A nice guy who actually wished Pools well and said Darlo just faded away after doing so well this season. His main concern was the shit state of Blackwell Meadows which is one hinder Darlo has to progressing. Just wondered if anybody else on here has either helped or been helped by a Darlo fan? I asked him if he knew Lone Star on The Bunker. He didn't. I suppose that confirms my senility to my son who said Darlo have loads of fans. Well a few anyway.

Bought a Vauxhall car from a garage in the Boro a few years ago, the salesman was a Darlo fan, jokingly said I can’t give you a decent deal as you’re a Pools fan. I got a good deal plus he didnt notice the slight damage to the number on my trade in.

Bought a 3 year old Honda 250K4 in 1974 from Burnspeed in North Road.
It was a great bike.

Big Mally from MT Audio in Loidland is a great bloke and funny as. He's bound to have provided PAs for festival stages in Hartlepool.

Proper hated Pools, so we had some good crack when they were in approximately in the same division as us. Darlo's wilderness years have taken their toll on his enthusiasm though.
