Just wanted to wish you all the best for Monday and next season. I really hope you bounce straight back up because your a cracking club. As a Stockport County fan for 40+ years it’s been ups but mainly down times for us, but for obvious reasons but we have an local amazing backer and are now able to be treated after the worst years ever. I really feel for your fans because like us you have been down there with us a lot of the way. I know what happened with Dc is still bitter with a minority of your fans but unfortunately that’s football and we have had the same happen to us many times. I hope you guys get the investment your club needs and hand on heart hope the good times come back for you.

Unfortunately he never got to play for us. There was a lot of rumours and I even asked him myself back in the early to mid nineties after we had just played you and he just smiled. I was a massive fan of his and he was a great character.

monday could be the last time stockport v pools is a league game for a number of seasons. if they do not go up this season then i doubt they,ll fail the next. pools will possibly get back into the league with decent backing but somehow cannot see us bothering league 1 unless we are really bankrolled above our status. think the geography of the area could hold us back to get even the present regular gates stockport get at present never mind a refurbished ground.

Really hope it’s not too long till we play each other again. Really think as a club you need to focus on kids. Where Stockport are is not ideal when you have city and utd next door but giving schools free tickets and cheap tickets on match day for kids is a start to getting them supporting yourselves over Middlesbrough, Sunderland, and Newcastle. County do a, meet the players, face painting, sweet stands, balloon modelling and many other things to entertain the kids in the build up to the match. It’s brilliant to see more County kits on kids in the area than city and Utd these days. I don’t know if you have many things for kids going on but if you get them in young then there a potential season ticket holder in the future.
