We haven’t folded or went out of business, we may well get relegated, but the club lives on.

Brilliant, and I'm old enough to remember nearly all of that and it reminds us that we have had some good times at Pools. They should show that to the players before kick off and let them see the response they will get if they give 100%.

Despite our probs I still love Hartlepool United and have done ever since my first visit in October 1965 and we lost that day as well!

I remember those heady days when if the crowd hit 2,000 you felt as though things were looking up….and the joy of changing ends. In fact I used to get well pissed off if we got a Cup match and the stay aways turned up, felt as though they should have had a section of ground to isolate them in for affect my free range spectating. Success had it’s drawbacks.

the thing is you do keep some of those fans who found the vic inow than ever the good times and cup games otherwise we would still only have the hard core of less than 2,000. clubs need a purple patch more now than ever as its all about success now than actually turning up to watch a decent game. unless you are dragged to games by a parent your first match now will be watching the side on the up, not down or stagnating.
