Come Tuesday, it might give the players a kick up the backside and a reality check to start winning games. I still think it's all change over April. The team's likes of Colchester, Gillingham and Harrogate thinking they safe, start to sink again.

Well can only hope and pray.

If we weren't in such a desperate situation, a draw away at a promotion chasing team would have been a good result. As it is its another nail in the relegation coffin.

askey has made draws from defeats previously. 9 games left to change these draws into wins. at the end of the day its going to be the draws that will kill us. just look at the table and see mid table doncaster have only lost 2 games less than us. in askey i trust which are words i have not used that many times about a pools manager.

Irrespective of everything it was a good result. Bradford had several chances that they should have scored. Best performance I’ve seen from Pools for a long while which augurs well for the remaining games. Bottom line is that if we continue to play like that, we’ll be ok.

the plus side is scoring 2 at bradford who until yesterday had the tightest defence in the league. its the goals against column that shows where our problems are. 4 points dropped in the last 2 games from winning positions.

Going back to the Crawley game; despite them winning, the 15/20 minutes I watched showed two god awful sides competing to be the worst. The Crawley goal was a lesson in lucky rebounds and awful defending, not to mention that it looked offside. Crawley didn’t look like a team that has massively improved they were just up against a team playing as bad as they could.

The Pools v Crawley game will decide this season in my view.

crawley might have been bad and scored a lucky goal but they still got 3 points. when we play em at the vic we need to be close to em to make victory worthwhile and something to really play for in the 2 games after it. can see a repeat of the games that sent us down last time with us winning at stockport and someone else getting a goal right at the death.

Sterry is very good going forward but defensively I think injuries/match fitness might have taken it's toll. He got beaten by back post balls about 5 times today and a goal was always going to come from one.

To me both Sterry and Josh are carrying, Although Sterry was instrumental in both goals.

The two things are related. Unlike Curle, Askey is encouraging Ferguson and Sterry to play as attacking wing backs. They've both been involved in the goals Pools have scored in recent games. On the other hand, Ramage in the Mail has started using a lot of match stats and for the Saturday's game the stattos reckon both Ferguson and Sterry were on the ball nearly 3 times as often in the Bradford half than in the Pools half!

Just shows what the fans (and opposition managers) can see anyway, but I'm not sure what the solution is. Play Dodds right back in a 4-3-3 and push Sterry into midfield? Reminds me of when Pools had Michael Duckworth - another really good attacking full back who wasn't all that much cop at defending.
