So what’s the best scenario in this match. A Crawley defeat?

Yes as much as I have a home in Harrogate and lived there for 38 years I would rather they went down. However, on recent results good draw against Gillingham and win against Doncaster pushes them away from us. So it looks like a 3 horse race. Once a Poolie always a Poolie.

Harrogate and Pools to stay up would be ideal. Noticed Armstrong is in the swing again!

after the turmoil of this season a 22nd place would be a real achievment. better than promotion for the better teams.

I would be over the moon just avoiding relegation so I'll take 22nd all day.

Another good Sun story my arse!

I expect they will telling us tomorrow that there will be highs of 70 degrees and you will need sun cream lotion.

2 up with 2 down will be with us for the next few seasons - you heard it first here.

So in about 2 seasons it will go to a vote and get voted in as there's more teams in the top 3 divisions.
Obviously Pools will vote against it as relegation battles will become the norm under this current Regime. Despite the bullshit when STs are on sale.
If by some miracle of other results we stay up this season.
We will have to go thru it all again next season.

if we do stay up we might actually have a fighting chance to pick better players up. our last two summers have been a farce through the first ending late and last seasons late managerial appointments. be interesting what will happen with a level playing field for us.

I did buy a ST and yes, feel conned because last pre-season was a farce - an object lesson in how to chuck away any momentum left with a promotion-winning side. If Raj seriously believed Pools were promotion contenders under half-a-squad Hartley he's clueless.

If it turns out Pools have done just enough to stay up after 2 changes of manager, as a fan you can only hope that the chairman has learned enough of a hard lesson from falling gate receipts and having to shell out for a dozen signings in January to be a bit smarter this summer.

If he's learned anything he'll give Askey (assuming he's still here) enough of a budget to at least aim for mid-table next season. If he doesn't there's no hope for him - or the club while he's in charge.

anyone who bought a ST for this season should get a bloody good deal if they renue it for next season no matter what league we are in. if only as a PR exercise from raj. When they go on sale just advertise the fact they are without any crap or bullshit about the forthcoming season.

If it does go wrong I think being bedded in to the club would be a definite advantage providing he makes a decent showing till the end of the season.
Please, no more prospective saviours full of wind, just a proper working manager with experience at this level who knows what’s needed.

No doubt there will be a promotion budget announcement in the ST launch.
Lets just hope its a one to get us in League One rather than a bounce back to the EFL.
