Creepy have Bradford Home Grimsby Home and Barrow Away. I cannot see them getting more than 3 points but even if they Win 1 Lose 1 Draw 1 thats only 4 points and they have to come here as well. If we beat them and I think we will I can see us making the great escape despite this horrendous season.

We really need to start winning the odd game so we don't need to always rely on others. We are due a win against a top 10 team so hopefully that starts Saturday. A fully fit squad would really help with the run in.

Crawley are at Sutton on Tuesday night. Hopefully that's another mission impossible for them.

Rochdale might be more of a worry shortly.

The only thing that prevented us winning yesterday, was the bloody ref.
I'm a lot more optimistic of staying up after that performance.
Positive football instead of negative hoofball shyte, players in their best positions & decent substitutions.

Somehow I got confused here.. Its Sutton Away Mansfield Away n Grimsby at Home. Anyway still do not see anymore than 3/ 4 points.

Basically, those three games are neither here nor there, yes they are a factor……fact is WE need to get going and get some points on the board and stop hoping others save us.

more games to play when you are struggling can mean more injuries and tiredness creaping in at this stage of the season. eventually we will play someone on a saturday who are knackered after a hard mid week game with us having the week off who play a weak tired side after we have had a week off. i,d rest a few of ours for the salford away game before crawley come to town on the saturday after.

sutton and mansfield away is a given - they should tear them a new one... both those teams in half decent form and Sutton are a cow bag anyways regardless.

Grimsby at home is the one i can see them winning or at least getting a point - more things on their plate atm unfortunately... unless will they have already played Brighton by then and potentially be out the cup ?

Grimsby have a busy schedule due to their back log, so I wouldn't be surprised if they got dragged into the dogfight. They could easily imitate our performance after our Pizza cup run ended and that was exactly one year ago on Wednesday.
I would like to see them get a draw at Brighton and further clog the show up.

Agree. A home win against Northampton on Saturday would be a massive statement - we're getting to the sticky end of the season for sides at the top and bottom of the division, where promotion contenders can let nerves get the better of them and teams at the bottom scrap like hell for results.

On paper, Northampton at home is an easier task than Bradford away or Orient at home. Their recent form hasn't been great and they struggled to beat Crawley. On the other hand, nicking a win with 10 men might be the boost they've been looking for

Northampton haven't scored more than 1 in their last 7 and have drawn 4 (including against Harrogate and Rochdale). They have something like 8 injuries to first teamers and if their red card somehow doesn't get overturned will be without first choice left and right backs.
This is a really good chance to build on Tranmere and actually get a win.
Harrogate play Crawley on saturday as well, they'll have no games in hand anymore and Crawley will have 2 left.

The only way the like of Colchester and Grimbsy are going to get dragged into this is if Pools, Dale, Harrogate and Crawley start winning games more than once in a blue moon.

If we can somehow manage to get 4 points from our next 3 fixtures I will start to believe we can get out of this mess but we need to change at least a few of these draws into wins.

Rochdale will be over the moon that Pools n Crawley keep giving them a lifeline.
Can see them takeing advantage of the situation now.
Time for Pools to start winning as weve must of used up our favours from other teams.
UTP.

Crawley heavily beaten and a defender sent off.

Pools need their backsides kicking from one end of Seaton beach to the other if they don't manage to finish above Rochdale and Crawley.

Cast adrift and looking like a three horse race for the bottom two spots. We could do with Harrogate continuing their recent run with a win at Crawley on Saturday, but more important would be for us to kick Northampton in the cobblers…
