Who knows? I am just pleased that so far Josh Umerah is still a Pools player.

Well no surprises then as with the last transfer window promises from Raj yhat we will compete with anyone in the division what happens one player in on lone big deal wherre are these goal scoring strikers you promised where is anther defender promised what happens injuries in defence so we talk about seding a defender out on loan. You have cocked up big time as you attempt to run a football club. When we got back in the league you should have got investors in nut no you tried and failed to run the club as a dictator. Ther have been plenty of good players available but I believe the word has gone around about the terms and coditions at the club hence why few want to come to the club. Please spare us your bleatings tomorrow about the player we t6ried to sign trying is not good enough. You mr Singh are totally rresponsible for this chaos.

Raj Singh had a club on the up pulling in 5500 to 6000 crowds what did he do. Took the piss. He would of recouped way more by keeping the conference team together. He needs to go.

Rochdale have signed Mullarkey from Altrincham. One of the best centre backs at national league level, would be surprised if we didn’t go after him also.

Big lad (6 foot 5) - we could do with that sort of physical presence.

Signing young kids on loan on peanuts. We need quality players who have done it. Not untested lads.

Some people are never happy! We got an old player in Peter Hartley, this has to be a better option.

Well we’ve certainly signed a lot in terms of numbers, quality remains to be seen but this is Curles team now and I don’t want to hear any shite about waiting for players to gel etc..

That Jennings signing looks like an absolute stinker, there’s not a single chance he was anywhere near our first choice target, looks like a panic buy.

Jennings pace is called out in the article twice, once by Curle. He is literally slow. With a poor goal scoring record to boot.

We spent £0 on fees to go get quality. I’ll back them all the way, 11 new players. Just not a marquee one.

Well that's it whether we like it or not.

As per BBC = 3 Free agents / 2 Loans so no wonder we paid no fees.

Quantity over Quality again............

Great title for this thread  5 signings in a day and 10 for the January window  One more and we'd have signed a new team...

Definitely a scatter gun approach but on wages alone it's nothing like last January. AND kept Umerah and Sterry.

Some people having their 'fun' rubbishing every single signing but the rest of us will be hoping somewhere in a squad of 30+ there's 15 or 16 capable of keeping us in this division - and that Keith Curle finds his best starting 11 before April!

Both Finney and Kiernan have scored goals from midfield at league one and two level in past seasons, which we have sadly lacked for what seems ages.

Telling it like it is as in Umerah will definitely sold in this window, Raj is just taking money out of the club as fast as he can, we won't sign anybody... hundreds of posts along those lines in the last week alone.

I expect you to stick to your guns Kev, but nobody's infallible. It's not that difficult to admit you were wrong once in a while.

Time will tell, trouble is recently praying made a comeback such is the dire product on offer.
I pray to God it works, the alternative is not worth thinking about.
I feel if we’d got someone else in instead of Lee, things may have turned out differently…ex players who’ve never managed at this level was odds on gonna go tits up …… and it did.

There’s a lad at Grimsby great player, plenty of midfield goals & assists, real fan favourite apparently, think he’s an Irish midfielder.

If you check wiki like I did you'll see, for example Finney scored 18 goals between 2019 and 22 for Crewe, whereas Featherstone, Crawford and Sylla have 1 goal between them this season.

Kiernan and (I think) Finney can also play up front so maybe we’ve gone for them as our new strikers with Jennings back up?
Feel bad for Trusty as with 6 loans I imagine he’ll be out of the match day squad now

Dan Kemp also knows where the onion bag is. The key requisite is good service to Josh and whoever ends up as his partner.
Then we might get somewhere.
Then, as usual, we have to have a bit of luck with injuries and suspensions.
