Scroll down to where it talks about injury time.

It's about time, they sorted this play acting out...remember how bad it was in the National league..

VAR decisions to be explained to fans but temporary sub trial ruled out - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64322063

Nothing more worse for time wasting than the offside rule, Allow play to continue for about 10secs
Then the assisant raises their flag and play is stopped, brought back.

how about sorting keepers out first and players having another kick of the ball when a free kick is given away and walking towards the player going to take the free kick. injries minor or major have always been part of the game since the magic sponge was invented. if a few cards were thrown about early in a game they,ll get the message.

I’m surprised at the amount of space stolen on throw ins….just my opinion, but I’d replace it with free kicks.

That would spoil football. There would be a relentless procession of corner type hoofs into the box.

Half time is a waste of time for me. Let them play through it and we can get to the pub 15 minutes early.

This business of not interfering with play annoys me. When it was first mentioned I remember Cloughie saying that he expects every one of his players to be interfering with play as soon as they took to the pitch and those that weren't answered to him.

You do virtually the same thing with long throws.

its bloody common sense anyone on the pitch especially when a team is attacking has an influence on defenders. just because you do not have the ball should make no difference whatsoever.

"It is keen to ensure the time the ball is in play goes up and having rejected alternatives, such as a countdown clock, believes changes can be made within the existing structure of the game.

Essentially that means timing injury delays and adding that precise figure at the end of a match rather than a rough idea of the total time, which will be relayed as guidance to all domestic competitions from next season."

I want to see 90 minutes of football - i.e. with the ball in play for that time. Anything less is short-changing the paying customers

It’s not comparable. Goals have been scored from goal kicks, so just think, every throw in from anywhere on the pitch could be launched into the opposition penalty box.
