It is being televised for overseas. Can't find anywhere how much we get for that. I note that all the ITV/BBC matches to be shown live feature Prem or Championship. Ah the romance of the 3rd round.

They are domestic channels, Not as Snowy calls them OTHER channels.

May be on usa channel, or Aussie channel, or Hesgoal may be worth a look.

they cannot wait to ditch the lower league clubs who need the money for the viewing figures of the bigger names.

forget all that and which day its on. the biggest annoyance could be after the next dew substandard performances in the league that the players turn it on for the game and we get a result out of it.

Challinor sounds like Ron Knee, the fictional football manager of Neasden FC in Private Eye, along with their two loyal fans, Sid and Doris Bonkers.

only difference was they had to work for their goals after the training session they had on saturday. if stoke were as bad as them pools have a good chance of teaching the 4th round.

so it should be. its the glory of the fa cup and the worlds oldest tournament they keep telling us. then stoke had stanley matthews starting and finishing his career with them and having a cup final named after him even though he never scored a hat trick in the game. get your knitted hooped scarves and rattles out for the day.

Howay Mr A …I’ve been oiling my rattle all week and my Bobble hat has been pressed for the occasion with a new rosette fitted……I think Pools should charge 1/9d entry fee…in threepenny bits.

god i forgot about rosettes. do they still sell em. lets have a 4 page programme for 3d as well and pump into the vic the combined smell of bovril and wintergreen to give us the occasion it really deserves. then i might think of jumping on the trolleybus from old hartlepool to west for the afternoon.

so the club have to bribe fans to attend then when they are drawn against a side 2 divisions higher. just another change we have seen in football over the years as once this was never the case. if you are just not interested in the fa cup then fine as for me its only a cash cow for non league and bottom two division sides anyway as they are not going to be finalists anyway.

If the cost of living keeps rising, I will have to consider nicking into pools like i did when i was a nipper.

No problem, but you’ll need to book a slot to use the ladder, then there’s the mandatory four day safety course for using the ladder for nicking into the Vic and sadly in view of the inflationary rise in the price of ladders there’ll be a charge of £2.50 per rung used.
Have a nice day and book early.

I think it can be taken for granted that a draw against Stoke in January is unlikely to lead to sexual arousal or arousal of any kind as the traditional Nor Easterly blows in from the North Sea.

Is Ratboy the lead tunnel digger, If so i,m in.

Bins in Morrisons should hold a good load of soil, Maybe put it on the rinkend roof
For when Bradford come back.

Hope the tunnel starts in the Cornerflag, Not to far to dig.

Due to technical difficulties it’s starting in our back garden, the bonus is Ratboy’s available available 24/7 if he gets the concession on keeping any rats or rabbits, however his directional sense is a bit skew whiff and he ate the compass.
Prospective tunnel users will have to turn up 2 hours before the match and dressed as a gas man or something similar to stop she who must obeyed twigging on.
It comes out under the deep fat frier in the kiosk on the mill house side side so be careful, a spillage of boiling cooking oil down your trousers can ruin your prospects.

A bit dodgy considering Pools record this season, if you were a bit depressed you could end up jumping off the roof.
