Thanks for posting and great to see Tom Crawford rise like an eagle to score the header

Pools were playing it out from the back even against Hibs in Portugal. No surprises there - it would be a shock if Hartley and Young did play hoofball.

Nothing wrong with playing out from the back as long as it's done with pace and purpose, as it was under Challinor and will be under Hartley. Some fans will still go their ends when crap teams come to the Vic and Pools are passing it around in front of 2 banks of 5 who are playing for 0-0. The only answer to that is to score early!

We won,t be playing hoof ball, And we won,t be playing it out from the back constantly.
Hartley has already stated, they will be a mixture, out from the back and direct to feet through the lines.

I liked what bit I saw, I have faith in this management team to produce the goods despite the doubters.

Yes, very positive. I know it was only a few minutes but we looked the better team and as others have said, we passed the ball to good purpose. Hastie looks to be really good.

The pace has certainly been upped.

just going off the highlights we seemed more on the front foot looking more positive. playing out from the back is fine if moving forward. 30 crossfield passes with players stood still and not gaining a yard isn,t.

We made more forward passes in 5 minutes, than we did in the last 10 games of the season.
