There's a post on the supporters Facebook page saying that he has passed away, no age at all

RIP Kev

With regret I can confirm that what Fensy says is true. Tragic. RIP my old mate and best wishes to Clair and the kids.

When I saw the name I thought he was making a comeback.
Crazy irreverent guy with crazy posts, but a laugh all the same.
When he posted you were wary of opening the page, but you did.
What a shame.

It’s dreadful news. A true poolie and a nicer, more genuine bloke you couldn’t wish to meet. RIP my friend, you’ll be missed.

I've not been on here for a lot of long long time, but Kev was a friend from a long internet time ago. Another Poolie lost, with young kids, tragic.

Sad news.

it's just so wrong. Kev worked hard to provide a nice home and lifestyle for his family only to be struck down in his prime. Life really is unfair.

Any idea of what the cause was? If that’s not being insensitive.

Such sad news. RIP Mr Ripper. I only knew you from this great forum but I enjoyed your point of view. Puts the petty squabbling into perspective. The photo is a real choker. Football isn't that important is it?

I had to write a bit of a eulogy last night after Clair (Ripper's missus) asked me to put something together about his role in the Monkeyhangerz record. To be fair it wasn't too difficult as he did all the important background stuff without which the project would have failed.

I only hope I did him justice.

Could you put the Eulogy on here please.
I'm sure we would all like to read it.

Cab I make a suggestion as Mr. who has kept us all informed and Rippers announcement has been so well handled by Mr. I and has said quite rightly the eulogy will be printed after the funeral . That as a mark of respect we have a5 minute silence on the bunker and nobody sends in any posts during the time of his funeral on the 12/7/22,comments please.

Sad news indeed. I didn't know Mr Ripper well but made sure that I was in earshot of him on the terrace on matchday so that I could listen to his sage and witty comments. RIP my fellow Poolie.

Rarely enter these days, but needed to when I found out this sad news. Good lad, big shame. A feisty opponent when we would have Bunker 5 a side games

Only just got around to having a proper look at my my programme for the Crewe game. There's a page on Kevin remembering him as one of Pools' biggest fans and praising his involvement in youth coaching in the town. Well done the club.

Met ripper a few times as his son Freddie was a big fan of buses so sorted a few things out for him. A belated RIP from me.
