...of the season it would appear they know they’re busy going nowhere at a saunter.
I like to see a team fight to the end of the season even when there’s nothing to fight for, because their obligation is to the fans who are here for life, everyone else is just passing through.
I hate to see a season run out of steam and fade, get a grip.

Spot on nothing short of embarrassing that today.

Could I suggest that Bogle is partnered up with a permanent partner to work as a close pair on the pitch, and train together working on that partnership, it worked for Baker and Allon, we just need a partner with a brain for opportunities.
At present he’s left to operate alone and looks so lost waiting for the rest to catch up with him, it does him no favours whatsoever.

could be a case of pools having a few players who only see football as a job and with us being safe they think the job is now done. no real love for the game never mind love for their present club. way things are going the good friday game will be my last for this season.

agree 100%......why do we keep playing two front players out wide with bogle in the middle on his own ?.....totally fkin ridiculous....this and a few other "off the pitch issues" in recent weeks is beginning to make me feel a bit nervous...."not enjoyable" ?...spike NO....dont want to hear you saying that again...and by the way that habit you have of repeatedly nipping your fkin ear during interviews is driving me nuts....the phrase to use is ...its not acceptable...thats all .....its not acceptable....just that ....nothing else....nothing more...."no fight" ....its.....just ...not...acceptable..

well he sounded really down on the post match interview and doubt he,ll know what to do or who he picks for the next game. these next few weeks could be the hardest he,s had since he walked through the door. getting players to earn their pay cheque on matchdays.

We also have some pretty difficult fixtures coming up. Apart from Forest Green away, at the Vic we face promotion chasing Swindon and Port Vale and Colchester who are starting to show some form. Wondering if we are going to see anything but defeats between now and the end of the season.

Pools showed plenty of fight coming back against Mansfield in midweek. Yesterday's game sounded like it was very disappointing in comparison but it's only one game. I'm sure Spike will go 3 central defenders and wing backs at FGR - Pools best option with Mols out.

...yeah... whatever...the usual blah blah blah......but at pools ...because of our history ...what matters more than how we win...is ??...yes you've guessed it.....its ??...how... we... lose....thats it.... NSD....thats what matters to us the most ....more than anything......its our line in the sand....our red line.....call it what you want....and that line was crossed yesterday......always accept losing to a better team....but not like that...

Think it’s time for a drastic clearing of the decks for next season, all those on loan who won’t be here next season may as well saddle their horses and ride off into the sunset. There’ nothing to play for now so let’s be realistic and see what we’ve actually got, assess them and see if they’re going or staying, next season starts now!!!

I look at Bogle and he’s being directed to run across the width of the pitch, like an hamster on a wheel, he’s a lone figure and playing him like this will wear him out and make hm look as though he hasn’t a clue...... I want to see him in the box with a sidekick or as far as is reasonable up in their half, has Spike mixed up a collection of ballroom dance routines with his coaching manuals sctatchinghead

spike.....“That performance wasn’t a must win game. If you were a team who were fighting for something and you perform like that then we’d be worried.”

.....just what sort of message is that to give your team when your assessment is they have just lost a game without fighting....i really am starting to worry....

Christ, your snide bullshit is as tedious as your morse code excuse for joined up sentences. I already said I didn't see yesterday's game so I'm not in a position to say whether 'a line was crossed' or not. I did go to the Mansfield game and saw an excellent fightback after a terrible start. Will it be downhill all the way from here? Maybe, but Pools have been nothing if not inconsistent in the league all season, so I wouldn't rule out a much better performance sometime soon.

Like Dicken’s Mr Micawber all we have left for the rest of the season is his most famous saying....”something will turn up”. But what?

I see no point in expecting them to make some storming charge towards the end of the season. Time to start assessing what we need to do and experimenting with line ups regardless off results, we’re safe, let’s use this opportunity to start getting organised for next season.
