some players end up as contractors because they are not good enough or go to clubs where they do not fit in. for every player a club loses to a bigger fish there will be more who are not offered contracts and need to seek a club elsewhere. throught the leagues fans will be in for a shock when retained lists are published with contracts offered to some they want to see the back of and others getting a free who most would like to keep.
