... and as usual I proceeded to scrutinise it with a fine tooth comb, till I spotted a recurring theme, one outfit was dipping into my account on a semi regular basis and someone else was shopping on Amazon every month..... Tried to work it out but hit the buffers, at that moment the daughter walked in and I collared her as you do, I asked her if she’d been shopping on Amazon with my card....she asked for the statement and put me in my place, the Amazon one is your Amazon Prime subscription and that other ‘outfit’ is EFL...y’know, your Pools away matches online.

An easy mistake to make Snowy and definitely not your fault. It was probably your daughter's fault for introducing you to on line shopping in the first case.
Also remember which of your ancestor's dragged you screaming down to the Vic, therein lies the responsibility for that.
You are completely exonerated and are due some daddy / daughter restaurant time in compensation......with her paying of course. Go to it laddie.

flares, how about a double brested suit with turn ups on the trousers plus the trilby. all the right kit to walk down those mean streets of bradford for an away game there. something feeling hard in your trousers helped but it wasn,t their fans that caused it. The lasses looked great from 50 yards away but they were all dressed to look good from 50 yards.

Remember the wide shirt collars and the kipper ties to complement the 3 piece suit with flare trousers. Cigs(Rothmans)were 4 shillings & sixpence for pack of 20 now over £10 - that would have been half a weeks wages.

Apparently her nickname at school was ‘seaweed’ as even the tide wouldn’t go out with her.

With most lasses looking up to a poster of Donny Osmond or David Cassidy back then ,you both must have struggled with insecurities about your looks back in the early 70's? sctatchinghead

Ah, you mean the ‘Egton’, it got the record for being the longest laid up ship in the UK. We used to say it was resting on empty bean cans the crew had thrown over the side over the years. When it finally left it went straight to the breakers yard.

Sta Prest, Doc Martins and Ben Sherman’s, lovely shirtsAlways bought Doc Martins for years, especially when work was paying for them, but when they moved production to China they were unwearable.....and their discovery by the chattering classes offspring ramped the price up to silly levels.

The leotard’s turned into a thong after several thousand wash cycles and if any thing can make you strut it’s a chafing tangled thong. :uhoh:
