Let's get back on a roll ready for Wednesday, the players should be busting a gut to get in the side and a trip to Wembley.

Harrogate 1 Pools 3

0-4 loss. Spike blame loss on excessive consumption of Betty's teacakes.

Can see a draw - Bogle to the rescue with a late strike to finish the game 1-1

Most likely no clean sheet.
Most likely Armstrong to score.
A major ask to survive this and still come out of the game with 3 points.
Them 2
Pools 3

bit worried after finding out who is going to ref this game. not the worst ref we could have got but he is a bit of a homer all the times i have seen in over his long career. Carl Boyeson.

Great win that, and great save by Killip on 80 minutes to retain our lead.

Armstrong took his goal very well. He gets on well with Graeme Lee and I'd welcome him back with open arms if Pools ever get the chance to sign him. Him and Omar up front with Molyneux out wide would be unstoppable.

Both our goals were terrific. Amazing shot from distance from Molyneux and brilliant hold up play from Bogle before Ferguson thumped it in. Fergie, Mols and Featherstone were all outstanding today.

That ‘stadium’ (I use the word in it’s loosest sense) looks like it was knocked together from numerous sections of abandoned 1930’s holiday chalets and workman’s cabins.

Molyneux will rightly get the plaudits for the stunning goal.

But Omar Bogle in setting up the second goal, what a player he is.

Agree. Mols goal was right out of the top drawer but Bogle's work in setting up Ferguson was superb....the defender didn't know if he was coming or going.

Outstanding result at a bogey ground.
Next 2 league games at home Orient n Bradford.
6 points then the friday nite game at Newport really does become a season changer.
Maybe Wembley twice in one season.
Live the dream.
UTP.

Wow, who'd have believed we would read that on the bunker.  .
Keep it up Pools.
A fine season to reward all those Poolies who didn't get tickets for Ashton Gate.

you would think they,d have an allotment end on part of that ground. think their council should get involved as iys a blot on the whole town.

must go down as the best second half away performance for years. they looked dangerous late on but you,d have expected that. pools could easily have got another two before they woke up. a really big week now for pools and by 5 next saturday we,ll have a better idea how the end of the season will pan out.

A really entertaining game, with no bad fouls, no bookings, & only one physio visit onto the pitch. Harrogate fans commented how we created numerous chances once we got the equaliser.

Even with a crowd of only 2,638, Betty's had a queue around their corner & halfway down the bank

Up to a point. As usual when they're in front, Pools invited the pressure by playing the last 15 minutes so deep in their own half. One of their lads missed a sitter to equalize - which would have been highway robbery on the balance of the play.

It was good to see the young lad Jake Hull finally get on the pitch.

Someone who can hold off defenders like that in their own 18 yard box is a special talent. The best hold-up player I’ve seen at Pools, no question.

going on the second half you are right. however in the first half i realised why doncaster wanted rid and was rarely played. his lay offs found yellow shirts more than blue ones.

hate to say it but harrogate helped the game to be entertaining by not having a team of 6ft plus players who know and use the dark arts of the game to their advantage. always fancy pools when the opposition tries to outplay us with football rather than the ones that try to drag pools down to their standard of rule bending.

I paid a way over the top amount to go corporate at the match a few thoughts.

The seating section Pools were allocated was only two thirds full, did fans who bought them stay in Betty’s eating Fat Rascals instead of attending?
The overall match sponsor for the match was a Hartlepool fan with his table full of blokes much to the confusion of everyone else in the room.
The manager Simon Weaver came in for a Q&A with Josh Falkingham and ended up fielding questions about Omar Bogle :-)
Josh Falkingham has tortured Pools every time I’ve watched us get beat at Harrogate operating 20 yards either side of the halfway line always available recycling the ball at speed like a very quick decisive Featherstone when he said he wasn’t playing my optimism rose.
Raj Singh looks like his right hand has been in a mincer with bandages and fingers strapped together, when I asked him if he had caught it in the till he did laugh but said he uses his left hand.
Great day out all in all.

Have to agree, last time we had a big striker who could hold it like that was Bob Newton.
