Team if all available:

Killip

Sterry Byrne Liddle Angol Ferguson

Holohan Featherstone Shelton

Molyneux - Goodwin

Grey off the bench at 60 min.

Going to take something big to turn the tide away at Bradford. Think it may well benefit us it's due to piss down.

I'll be there so we'd better win.

So it's a 2-0 defeat then!!!!

the team selection may be interesting. will DC risk players like liddle starting tonight or give em a few more days rest concentrating on saturdays home game. to make us safe we only have to win 11 more games and the clock is ticking to january.

The fact of the matter is... Lidds and Mols play we have a fighting chance of a bore draw. We are due that illusive away win but i cant see it happening on a rainy Autumn night in Bradford :(. think we should go one up top and try and boss the midfield, hopefully catch a counter or get a penalty ? in DC we trust but i can see us falling apart 2-0 to the home team !

just looking forwards to Saturday ! another home victory and thankfully 10 wins left in the bag to secure safety is the way im looking at it now. Maybe we sign another striker before the weekend on a free ?

Despite our good home record we are not exactly goal machines at the Vic!
So the thought that we can score enough to win away isn't credible.
Bore draw 0-0 is best result I can hope for.

Bradford have got 12 of their 17 points at home whilst our record is 1 point from our 17 away

Looks like a 2-0 loss

It's 40 years since I was at the corresponding fixture at Valley Parade, it was played on a Sunday, not sure why, and we lost 1-0, any improvement on that will be gratefully accepted

Great half from Pools. Bradford were poor, but showing signs of life towards the end of the half.

Thought Molyneux was nailed on to score for 2-0 - hope he gets another chance like that.

Pools good value for the lead but allowing Bradford back into the game the last ten minutes. Could have been 2-0 easily.

3-1 was a fair result but Bradford were poor or were they made to look poor by a good performance from Pools.

Fantastic performance. Watched on ifollow. Not sure about the penner when grey went down but that ref was awful for both sides. Desperation Bradford trying to score from a drop ball. The own goal was awesome. Anyway Not that we need to worry. Nice one.

GET INNNN !!! well deserved - hammered them. Give them their due they were not a bad side and came forward with promise. Luckily Hendrie played a blinder and kept Cook in his pocket - deserved that luck at the end as the referee shouldnt be allowed to ref another game again absolute tool ! 4-4-2 works for me with those players and needs to keep it like that. Hope Cullen isnt too buggered for saturday. UTFP !!!!!

I thought I'd missed something with that shot. I couldn't believe he'd taken a shot from the drop ball.

Got to say those who were not there had great coverage from radio tees. Well done.

Absolutely brilliant performance, referee absolutely shite. First start for our number nine and two goals. Molyneux awesome, Hendrie awesome and the twelfth man extraordinarly awesome. Our two full backs head and shoulders above any other in this division.

Had to listen to Radio Leeds commentary, but they were pretty fair & gave Pools plenty of praise.
The best bit was the bloke who vented his spleen as he left past the commentary box !

Amazingly, given our generally awful (prior to tonight) away record, and Harrogate’s great start to the season, we are still within three points of them in the table tonight. So, maybe things ain’t so bad after all?

It's extremely rare, if unheard of that a home crowd is never heard. Yet that happened tonight.

As for the lads on the pitch, honestly faultless and the tactics were spot on. Cullen has to start on Saturday.

I watched on ifollow, the ref was utter cac and a bit of a homer but it was nice to see Pools employ some of the "dark arts" we learned in the national league to break the game up and stop them gaining any momentum. Levi Sutton and Callum Cooke were decent for them but overall I thought Pools controlled the game after an iffy period in the first half. Mols should have buried that in the first half but I thought he had a storming game and never game them any respite. Happy to see Cullen snatch a brace although I think we need to play to his strengths a bit more because his previous injuries show with the way he gets around the pitch, I'd start him on Saturday with the aim of bringing Grey in the second half. Even Fondop did ok coming on and winning a few headers.
Roll on Saturday

He'll be starting the next 10 if he's fit enough to. Challinor certainly kept him waiting long enough for his chance, maybe too long. I said after Salford that for him not to get on the pitch in a game Pools were behind in almost from the start was bizarre.

Still, it all came good last night! Cullen nabbed 2 'Armstrong' goals - the aspect of the promotion season we've been missing most. The rest is in fairly good nick despite the hand wringing from some on here after every defeat. Pools gave Bradford a football lesson - passed them off the park and should have scored 5 or 6.

what else is left to say. it was even exciting watching on the laptop, god knows what is was like being there. just typical for me. nearest game of the season, free parking at keighley station and reduced train fare due to my old gits bus pass and i decided to stay in. just a thing about the ref tom neild. when i lived in norfolk i knew him quite well as for half a season he did mid week youth games with me and a manc guy. we took it in turns to ref and he was a nice lad, willing to listen and learn and not a know it all like many young teenage refs. knew then he,d make it to the league but do not blame me for a little sub standard performance but he did get the penalty decision spot on. as for bradford, a case of too many cookes.
