No Mols or Cook by the look of it. We really are down to the "bare bones". 0-0 looking good at the moment !

Fondop or Cullen to step up tomorrow - hopefully Shelton comes back to Haunt his old employers too ! Daly also needs to boss that midfield as Salford have a very good lad in midfield in Jason Lowe and also Lund aswell i think.

whats worse is cook being out for 6 weeks. just started to look fairly decent. typical pools being kicked in the teeth with injuries. has DC yet this season had a full squad to pick from.

know its a bit late now but anyone got a free ticket for today. just checked on the salford web site and there will be no tickets available for away fans today. even home fans have up to 11.30 today only to purchase tickets. no wonder their attendances are down. i mean a Spare Ticket not a freebee.

He was an injury doubt - Grey's in for him, which is a big ask as it's ages since he started a game.

Hendry and Shelton missing out also a surprise. Odusina and Ogle are in - no idea who will be playing in midfield alongside Featherstone and Daly.

We had a lot of possession, particularly in the second half, but hardly created anything from it.

Looks like we are to scrape through till Jan. Hope to god alot of these fuds are on contracts till Jan and they can be shown the door. Really dont understand that starting formation today. DC got it all wrong for a change. Midfield is piss poor. Up tops worse still. Could be made to look half decent if we had at least one striker who looked like scoring. Hope Holohan can recapture some form. Sheltons a lost cause. Timi is woeful. We miss Lidds as much as liverpool missed VVD. Bad bad show this weekend. Bradford will batter us should that team play again. Gutted tbh

Can't remember when I heard a manager at pools come out with 'he wasn't very good' about one striker and 'he'll find himself where he started, on the bench' about another striker.

Doesn't mince words. Those two will be replaced sharpish if they don't miraculously become better.

Pretty dire stuff that today!. Shopping in the bargain bin is really starting to show now, mainly up front. Last season we had goals coming from all over, today we ended with ogle, fondop and daly as a front 3,that would struggle in the national league north! It's been a tough summer for DC and hes just trying to plug the gaps just now, especially with our injury problems. The man really needs some backing in January and next summer because we cant survive with players like Fondop, hes just an absolute donkey. Cullen must be really down the pecking order if he cant get a game ahead of Goodwin etc.
No real positive displays today and says a lot when holohan was probably our MOM!!

DC signed Fondop. He signed Goodwin. He signed Cullen.

ALL of which look far and away not good enough. We were shocking today, and ultimately we just need to survive but we looked a bottom half national league team today, NOT a league 2 team. RUBBISH!

Doesn’t make sense to me that we’ve wasted money on olefula, Cullen, fondop, cook etc when surely could of used the combined wages to get a half decent striker in which would make us so much better.

We clearly do miss burey, but even that was a bit of a fluke seen as actually a winger but offers us so much more than anything else we have

Employ 1 expensive striker who then gets injured or 4 cheaper options 1 of which might be good. The manager's quandary.

In DC we trust.

Surely DC is allowed to bring in higher quality players in January.
He has to if the chairman wants to retain the clubs 5000 fans and get his dream 15000 stadium.

he will do and would have done if it wasn,t for that stupid transfer window thing that was not brought in for div.1 and 2 clubs anyway. DC has been a manager for years but never under this pointless system.

since when did pools have a great away record last. over the years i have seen em beaten by teams well below em in the league. than goodness i did not get a ticket yesterday and will swerve tuesdays game at my nearest club as well. they seemed unlucky yesterday and can see everything going their way on tuesday night because of it. the worry is that we are due for a defeat at the vic and one then leads to another. not for the first time its like watching 2 different clubs. pools at home and pools away.

Surely tuesday we are due that bit of luck. Be very concerning if we dont pick up maximum points on the road at all before xmas. Just dont want a dog fight our first season back. Im waitin for Oldham, Mansfield and even Carlisle to hit form
And start picking up the points.

Somebody said yesterday that Fondop had ball repellant on his boots. If DC can make anything that looks like a centre forward out of him then he definitely can be tagged as a miracle worker.
Very few positives in that game, if any at all.
A game that is best forgotten.
Opponents that are best forgotten and will be when the novelty wears off.
Facilities that are best forgotten.
A day out that, all in all, I wish I had never undertaken.
We were a bunch of individuals trying to look like a team.
DC will sort it after Christmas and all will be well again.
Being in the play offs was definitely a disadvantage, as is the transfer window which should definitely be scrapped at our level.
Onwards and upwards.
A word of caution.......................I took special notice of the expressions and comments of our fans leaving at the end and I got the impression that they weren't going to put up with much more performances like they saw yesterday. Now I may be totally wrong about this but the fact that the thought crossed my mind got me worrying. At the moment our support and supporters are nothing short of tremendous............let's not lose that.
