You're on stage in front of a sell-out crowd and just about to put on the performance of your life.Name the band and the tune.

Doesn't matter if they never had a Top-20 hit.

If it's just a riff - Asian Dub Foundation - Buzzin'.

If it's a solo Fleetwood Mac - Go your own way but only if I could use Lyndsey Buckingham's 'Rick Turner Model 1-C-LB' guitar.

That's my choices for today, I'll probably change my mind tomorrow.

Quality song.
Had it on a yellow vinyl Album about 1979!
Blank Generation also on it by Richard Hell n the Voidoids.
That era when Punk Rock was thriving.

I don't know how you can mention Lizzy and the :obscene-moneypiss: smiths in the same sentence.

Free, Alright Now.

And as Poolies get reminded at the start of every second half, the Stones Start Me Up if a classic riff.

But the vote for most recognisable riff on the planet has to go to Smoke On The Water.

I am a mega Thin Lizzy fan (played on the same bill as Phil Lynott many years ago) but also like the Smiths too. You can like chalk and cheese.
