Danny Elliot signs from chester untill the end of season.

Bit of a surprise. Dave Challinor says he's got pace but he hasn't played at all this season - his last game was in March 2020 according to Soccerbase.

Rhys Oates has pace too, so you wonder if there's a fitness concern there.

I guess the Ritchie Bennett loan is unlikely to be extended. Also interesting to hear that its a permanent move so we don't use up any more loan slots. Sounds like more player(s) may be coming in. Could do with another centre back and possibly a goalkeeper.

Bennett is with us to the end of the season but he can be recalled after 28th April due to a 28 day clause in his contract. So he’s available for at least the next two saturdays. I think this new striker has signed as cover in case he's recalled.

Stretton who was on loan at Stockport has been recalled to Derby after 28 days so Bennett could well be on his way back to Stockport

unless we could buy him he,ll be back for certain after 28 days. if the new lad from chester is as good it will not matter much anyway. bennett has helped us in the games he has played and also holohan has found the net again with him in the side. could be just co incidence but you never know.
