Hope rain doesn't stop game, it's looking very wet down there tomorrow. 1 ..1 depending on pitch condition.

0-3 with awful first half.
BT discontinues broadcast at half time due to lack of interest and shows a rerun of the Joy of Painting.
Luke Williams comes on for last 20 minutes and bags a hat-trick.

Fancied us for a win, then someone mentioned BT Sport

Can't call this one, in this crazy league wouldn't be surprised if we won 5-0 but going to play safe and go for a

1-1

0-1. Grey off the bench. Pools could do with winning this one, if only to put a stop to being consistently crap on BT. Think Ravas, Ofosu and maybe Crawford will keep their places in the starting 11, with Parkhouse and Molyneux coming back in.

Fully expecting the usual by sport's result.
Hope I'm wrong but doubt it.

The team he puts out today will be very interesting.

Think it would be a big mistake to drop Killip, a keeper who has gradually regained some confidence and improved as a result, getting dropped could unravel that. Not sure if people blame him for Torquay result, never noticed anything out of the ordinary myself , but if he was to blame for a couple of the goals, I would still stick with him and give him another chance

Ravas is on a season long loan. From what I've seen of him, in the Salford cup tie especially, he's a better all-round keeper than Killip, with no obvious weaknesses. Ben Killip is a good shop stopper but doesn't command his 6 yard area, never mind the box, and has already got away with a few howlers this season. In my opinion he got mucked around by Dave Challinor last season because Mitch Beeney was no better than him, probably worse. With Ravas it's different. Sooner or later he's going to get a shot at being first choice keeper and he will probably hold onto the jersey once he does.

It has happened before and will again. It was tough on Brian Cox when he lost his place to Kevin Poole, but Poole was brilliant in the run in and helped us to promotion.

Never been a fan of Killip, but I think he deserves at least another chance. He seems more confident if nothing else this season, probably not having a crowd in has helped. Mind you Killip hasnt had a great deal to do Torquay excepted and maybe that could work against him. I don't know though how dropping him would improve his fragile confidence. Ravas had one good game , can he do it two games running? I remember a keeper for Braintree playing a blinder against us once, now what was his name?

I was one out on the team - Williams in from the start! No-one playing number nine it seems. Parkhouse and Bloomfield both on the bench.

Odusina makes the bench. Grey, MacDonald and Oates don't. Not got the scorer but will settle for the right score!

BBC website has him playing number 18 - his usual position ...

What the hell has Grey done wrong? his potential will end up draining away ala Conor Simpson and Josh Hawkes

Williams lasted 16 minutes

Gutted

How long can he carry on? Perhaps it's time to accept his body just isn't up to it and call it a day??

In terms of entertainment, these conditions make it a nonsense as a spectacle.

If the rain keeps coming down like it is then it wont finish! Already proving dangerous for the players with that lad colliding with the post.

Pitch started to get completely waterlogged in the last 15 minutes. Don't think they're coming back out.

Dodged a bullet I reckon. Shame we have travelled to both Eastleigh and Barnet for nothing, and have to do it all again in the near future, in that respect Pools are at a disadvantage being so far North geographically.

This level has got to be regionalised in some way. This is ridiculous.

It was an even half in the clarts, think Challinor was right in his interview straight after it was stopped to say the winning goal would probably have come from a mistake caused by the conditions. Ofosu and Crawford did as well as anyone for us so they'll be in again for the Wrexham game. The big worry is that it's anybody's guess who'll lead the attack.

totally agree. the present situation of no money really coming into clubs just make the situation even more rediculous. doubt eastleigh and other southern clubs like coming all the way up to the vic either.

Difference is , when our games are called off, its always involved a hike of 200 /300 miles , whereas likes of Eastleigh only have to worry about 2 or 3 long haul games to Fylde , Halifax and us etc, very likely if Eastleigh have a game called off or abandoned it will be against a club within 75 miles of them.
