Bloody hell ! a bit harsh. Shows the ambition though, obviously think Alexander will struggle to deliver promotion, though not sure if Scholes is the answer. They have spent big in recruitment of Henderson and will expect Championship football within 3 seasons , therefore imagine any manager will be expected to deliver promotion within 2 seasons of getting the job.

Can imagine Kean sticking the knife in , no doubt with a view to taking over himself , once the hard work is done, getting to the league 1 play offs. Get beat in them and thats where Roy steps in

Out of interest looked at Salford’s close season signings..Four of five on paper, cracking signings, although classed as frees must be costing a fortune in wages and if it is Keane he won’t be going for buttons.

Can’t say I care about rich folks wasting money, other than to object on how they came by it. On what basis would Keane be in the ground at the weekend I wonder? As an employee or a part of the media team? Maybe as part owner? Just stirring as potentially there is breach of Covid regulations. I’d like to go and see a match too.

I’m guessing every club is allowed to take so many people, as I saw on Facebook the other day the apprentice/assistant groundsman of ours was at Maidenhead at the weekend, can’t imagine he was helping them with the ground. Also suspect Robbie Sterling was there as a guest and they just shot him on to do the commentary for the hell of it.

There was a Twatter comment from Jeff S in the Mail on Saturday saying he was at the game as a guest as there's still a bit of board to board hospitality going on. The co-commemtary thing with his lad was arranged on the basis that Pools knew they were both going to be there.

I’ll have to find a friend on the board somewhere at a club that Pools are playing. On the Salford front, I wonder if there is another documentary episode coming along as they continue their march through the League.

David Dunn Barrow manager at Bradford v Harrogate last night, Barrow play Harrogate on Saturday, It would be interesting to see who exactly is allowed to attend these so called behind closed doors game. BTW Harrogate were very impressive last night.

Once upon a time , if Pools had got the Championship , it would've made good tv, the stuff of dreams, now I fear that ship has sailed, its all about the Fleetwoods, FGRs, Salford, now. Next it will be Harrogate , then after that Solihull, its a conveyor belt of clubs with money behind them and in many cases manufactured plastic clubs , clubs that are nothing like the original clubs they were 20 or so years ago.

They will have to keep fingers crossed that owners don’t pull out. Remember Rushden and to a certain degree us with IOR. All the clubs mentioned do not have the support to financially keep them at the present level without a rich benifactor.

As a club that is badly run, neither do we. I more or less agree with what you say, but you can build up support over time, like we did under IOR

Or pull out and miss out on owning a club in the Championship in a couple years,no chance. Class of 92 alone are sitting on multi-million bank accounts .Beck's after shave alone could keep that club running for years..

Pulling out is often wise financially.

the main problem is that these teams were not really in the elite of top non league clubs. teams from a few years ago like kettering, altrincham, telford and to a lesser extent barnet and macclesfield have been pushed down by the teams you have mentioned . these were once below northern league standard and without the money they would have remained there or just gone bust. i could imagine that someone like altrincham once played their reserves against fleetwood and salford in pre season friendly games.

no love for any of these new age football league clubs. however harrogate tops the lot for me. they are like waitrose having some crappy shit shop that has an aisle selling goods under a pound.
