The OS has got the links for streaming
https://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/live-streaming-information/

They might do well with exiles and non season ticket holders paying £9.99 a go. Thpugh the money may soon dry up if they have a bad start to the season.

Just registered and paid my £9-99. Bit confusing site as it's just showing some world cup shit and no link to the Pools match so I hope I haven't just blown £10.

I watched a couple of the preseason friendlies on that site and it’s not the best to navigate. Just click the link from the pools site again on Saturday before the match and that’ll take you straight to the stream once you’re logged in - I couldn’t find any search function on the site so seems like that would be the best option.

Cheers for that, but they need to sort that out really. Is it easy to stream to a smart t.v.?

Registered with the same company for the friendlies at Blyth and Gateshead.

For the friendlies, nowt happened till shortly before kick off, then the picture and commentary kicked in. Screen went dead at half time and picture and commentary came back just in time for the second half. The worst aspect compared to TV is you don't get replays of any goals so you've got to pay attention if you don't want to miss anything! The picture froze for a few seconds a couple of times for the Heed game, but it was as windy as hell that day.

Forked out for a season ticket so I'm waiting for an email from the company with my user name and password

i,ll wait till saturday dinner time to give it a go but knowing me getting the pools game will be more by luck than anything else. might check if aldershot themselves are doing the stream as they seem to have been involved in it longer than pools have.

I am going to watch it on my laptop hopefully.
Also i was hoping to put it on a data stick to give to my old man. I could plug it into the back of his tv for him to watch.
Does anyone know how to do this?

If you wish to connect your laptop to your tv a HDMI lead should do the trick, available in most electrical stores or 'poundshops'

Cheers but i was a bit unclear. I want to save it to a data stick and then take it to him to watch later.

By the way i wouldn't be seen dead in a Poundshop it either Fortnum & Mason or the 99pShop for me.

Has anyone received any log in details for season ticket holders as yet?

They are leaving it very late!

Just as I post that my log in details come through on email!

I'm going to get a bottle of room temperature water, sit on a lump of hard plastic and queue in the kitchen at half time without managing to get our lass to feed me anything, for the full authentic experience!

She will have to be a crap cook to replicate the true matchday experience.
Might throw a load of bread on the patio to attract some seagulls.

Got mine at quarter to 4. As each one is unique to the season ticket holder some poor bugger has got 1,500 separate emails to send.

Thing is there is bound to be some who have wrote their email address down incorrectly, or too quickly, missed it off the S/T form or changed it since.

Save you the trouble of looking back through the thread. I posted this on Thursday:

"Registered with the same company for the friendlies at Blyth and Gateshead.

It's not like TV, there's no pre-match build up.

Quality is dreadful but was perfect for Blyth and Gateshead games.

As I said above I have very fast internet so it is the video equipment or how Pools are up loading that is the issue.

Tried firstly on newish Samsung tablet but said needed tunein app that you get a free trial then have to pay for so I switched it off. Went on 5 year old laptop and it came straight on. Picture and sound OK. I have 100gb virgin broadband
Quality can be affected by equipment age and broadband speed.

Keith Nobbs virtually inaudible all half. Sounds like he's not close enough to the microphone he's using. Simmo would have got him sorted out

There is definitely a problem at Pools end.

I have 100mb BT fibre to premises and both on my new ipad or computer, any movement creates wavy lines.

I picture quality was perfect for both the Blyth and Gateshead games on the same platform and using the same devices.

Separate issue but you cant hear Nobbsy. He is either too far from or has a poor quality mic

Fair to say it is i4streaming, & not Pools, who are responsible for the video & sound quality ?

A creditable commentary by young Alex

I had it on my laptop first half hour and it was dire, switched to my phone and it was fine. Not sure what would cause that?, who did get the second goal then?

Holohan - confirmed on the radio by Dave Challinor.

Also said that Luke Molyneux was missing due to contracting Covid-19. No symptoms, and his 14 days quarantine is up today.

I4streaming responsible for streaming platform, Pools responsible for their equipment and connecting to the streaming platform.

Same platform for Blyth and Gateshead games and both perfect victory quality.

Pools need to urgently review and do some further testing as they will rapidly lose the pay on the day customers if they don’t sort it out.

Anyway good to get a win and look forward to a good quality picture stream on Tuesday night.
