With EFL clubs being issued with a 84 page document about re opening their grounds from october wonder if anyone has heard about the NL plans if any for opening with crowds. Know for certain one EFL club can only at the moment operate on 32 per cent ground capacity with loads of do this and that associated with it. Just because most non league clubs never get anywhere near that percentage of home fans there are a number including Pools that do.

I've been keeping an eye on the Non-League Daily and the Non-League Paper but there's no official announcement yet. Scurr in the Mail speculated a third of normal capcity would be the thing for the NL too.

Meantime, it's been announced today that Bury have been accepted as members of the North West Counties League - Tier 10 in the football pyramid. It's the start of their long road back.

So would that mean no season tickets with online ticket purchase first come first served??

I only travel up for 6 matches (minimum) per season but do get a season ticket. Given the limited capacity, unlikely to repeat that since it will deny someone more local the chance to go to the match. That said, it would be good to have some capacity available for irregular purchase. I'll not be travelling all day just to visit the Rat Race...

Come up. come up. 1,000 tickets at £325 each. 8 players in training.

Money in the bank and will he do a Darlo? Asking for a friend.

Probably.
And yet a few dopey fans think the outrageous price increases will result in better results.
Normally go into a new season with a bit of optimism and hopeing for a play off spot.
Massive reality check now means just surviving in this division will become the new normal regime.

whatever the NL say about ground capacity could be trumped by the EFL as i imagine pools, like stockport, notts county etc. still have a football league licence for their ground. if a club does hold one they still have to follow the FL guidelines for games and any ground development or changes like standing fans.

Add in FA Trophy n Cup runs plus winter virus postponements and u looking at more midweek games than weekends.
Well at least the weather for the last two months of season will be ok to cram them rearranged fixtures in.
Huge pressure on clubs to fulfill there fixtures on small squads.

"It is hoped that the new season will begin with reduced numbers of supporters allowed into grounds."

It's worth waiting till the beginning of October to have all games played in front of some fans. The Premier League and all divisions in the EFL will have the first 3 weeks of fixtures behind closed doors as things stand.

Wrapping up warm for the first game of the season will be a bit of a novelty!

I’m thinking it might be wise for the FA to knock the Vase/Trophy on the head for this year. For the FA cup I reckon they’ve already mentioned about dishing off replays, which would help a small bit.

the powers that be are already talking about no changes in the 700 odd sides who will be in the FA Cup again next season. that includes the extra preliminary rounds that normally start around this weekend coming or before. no idea when say the northern league who have teams in at this stage have been given their go ahead to start. just do not know how a team at this level if they reached round 1 proper can fit in all these plus league games in during a shortened season. as for the FA trophy who would really miss it. just allow teams who want to enter do it without any action taken on those who refuse to do so.
