I am very sad to see Simmo getting sacked. I feel if this can happen to a true genuine & loyal servant who continued against all the odds over 18 years to stay focused & committed to a role he must of struggled to manage at times then god help us going forward. How can Pools get rid of the heart beat of the club? I would rather keep Simmo and lose a fringe player because he is more important to the club. I feel the Chairman scored a own goal here and was possibly given bad advice from others who want to stay close and safe in these terrible times. My advice for what its worth to you Mr Chairman is pick up the blower and get the heart beat back into our club because i feel hes one of the most important pieces of the jig saw in the rebuilding of Hartlepool United Football Club.

Coincidentally it’s also 15 years that the Bunker has been going.

What was worse, when Buster was sacked or when Simpson was sacked?

Buster was the lifeblood of the club but Simmo was the heartbeat. This is like Sophie's Choice only much worse because they both get it whoever Sophie opts for.
