No, it's not a naff new series on the Syfy channel, it's Mark Maguire's Vision for the future, according to the Echo:

"Maguire is overseeing the club’s long-term drive to get back to the Football League, establishing Project 25 with the aim of reaching League One by 2025.

Appointing the right manager is key to any aspirations of success. Hignett was part of his vision, but the club unceremonially dumped him after last week’s defeat at Stockport.

They have had plenty applications for the post and Maguire and the club’s directors are in the early stages."

Let's hope it doesn't turn out to mean 25 new managers in the next 6 seasons...

He also said the catering would be sorted by now so don`t hold your breath, the only time he will have 20/20 vision is next year!

I've got a mate who supports Chester and his company sponsors them sometimes. He is very sceptical of Maguire - he says there was a lot of talk but little concrete action.

He's certainly got the gift of the gab but as Monkeybutt says, seeing improvement in things like the catering would be good. Being fair, income from advertising seems to have improved vastly. Kit supplier is better too.

I really dislike Linkedin. If you read that you would believe that the world is full of lovely and successful people filling their world with fluffy pink marshmallows.

From the very little experience I have of the guy I would reckon your mate thinks the bloke is Superman and Jesus rolled into one compared to my opinion of him.

I would like to be out of this league by 2025.

Lack of vision, some might say.

I would say, reality of following Pools since the late 1970s

it seems to go with the job though. he is certainly not on his own by doing this. seems impossible just to use words like YES or NO nowadays. noises from empty vessels come to mind.
