Well said Bluestreak. Eastleigh 0 - 2 Pools. Gus Mafuta and Peter Kioso. Att. 1832 Poolies 151. The referee has it in for Pools on reputation but can't defeat our dominance. Eastleigh have been told to wind our players up. The media are looking for repeats of last Saturday and are disappointed. A gull swoops and shits on their keepers head as he picks the ball out of the back of the net from a Peter thunderbolt. And Bury FC go to the High Court to be reinstated.

1-1

I go into a sulk and decide to support Man U. But there are no Leeds fans around to talk me out of it like there was twenty odd years ago so I swap one shit team for another. Bad timing I should have gone through with it and supported Man U then and swapped to Man City now.

spitfires 2 poolie fockers 0. they like to play sideways a lot so its a pity featherstone is out to combat this and show how it should be done. got a feeling todays game will make tuesday look like an edge of your seat affair.

Eastleigh 1 Hartlepool 3

It's time to get back to winning ways, Toure and Luke James with two of the goals, Ben Killip with the third as he lofts a wind assisted clearance over his opposite number.

I'll be making the epic 40 minute drive along the South coast to watch this one, will report in later.

Bidets at Forest Green. Arse paper is environmentally unfriendly when your finger goes through it.

Got another early lead - let's hope the lads can do a better job of defending it than they did on Tuesday night.

Decent away point to be fair, but this season Pools are getting their autumn slump in early. 6 points from a possible 18 in September!

A game they could have won. Chucking away points as usual. You don't leave this league unless you go for it right from the start.

On another day blah blah blah.

I think it's been said elsewhere we really should have been two goals clear by half time. Impressed with Kitchings closing and pace, Mafuta doesn't waste the ball, thought Holohans booking for simulation was a shocker, haven't see the replay yet. Toure didn't look half as 'stessed' as he did at Dagenham. Kabamba desperately needs a goal. We looked comfortable but I'd maybe put that down to Eastleighs lacklustre performance rather than us being streets ahead of them.

Kennedy really should have scored in the second half, just the keeper to beat from 6 yards out. Penalty was at the opposite end so couldn't comment on it, good save though.

All in all, as many have said it's a good point on the road, but not when you are not winning your home games. Molyneux would have won this game single handed, I just hope he gets back before it's too late.

By the way, for those who haven't had the pleasure of Eastleigh, it's a tidy ground at this level but really in the middle of nowhere. They have to close roads before and after the game as there isn't even any pavements to walk to the ground on. Good for the airport, good for the dual carriage way, rubbish for parking and walking.
