It’s true what you are saying but they don’t really need drowning out what happened on Saturday was a rare occurrence when a moron outed himself when he’d lost control. Thankfully it’s something we hardly see these days.

But I reckon in the past most of us have witnessed or heard racism at a match and not done anything about it. I have, once was about four years ago 2 minutes into Toto Nsiala’s debut. I get that, don’t get involved and not wanting to confront people and put yourself at risk physically the easiest thing to do is nothing but I think what happened should be a line in the sand moment. If you see or hear anything of that nature report it, make sure in future these morons never need drowning out because they aren’t allowed in the ground. Absolute zero tolerance and it’s everyone’s duty to Police it.

true PJ. report it to someone and make sure they actually do something about it. a quiet word is no good. chuck em out at least. remember the vic isn,t a public space and their are rules and regs regarding watching football at our level.

I've been to a few Southampton games recently, they have a text number to report issues to during the game which is displayed regularly on their screens, I'd guess a large percentage of people wouldn't want to confront anybody so reporting mechanisms need to be easy.

Also, we really need stewards who will do something, I wasn't there on Saturday, but there seems to be many comments of ineffective stewarding. I appreciate it's cheap labour, but they need to be empowered or have more senior people working with them.

Whats the way to report it though to contact the club? you have to send it to general enquiries the club should launch an email/helpline.

I have genuinely rang 101 to report it and was told to contact the club, I also tried to download kick it out app that didn't work.

I don't think this stand tonight should go ahead, however well meaning it is, there are still some very unsavoury comments on social media these people need educating not told to hold up a placard to make it go away.

Education is the key.
Highlighting the problem has very little effect if it is not backed up with a plan.
Some of these "people" are liable to be basking in the five minutes of "fame" they are getting.
A cool calm well thought out plan to tackle the problem is needed.
Visible, positive and to the point.
