Scruffy bastards. I eat something at half time from sweets to fruit or the occasional pie..Whatever and always take my rubbish home or stick it in one of the many bins in the ground.

I wonder if the people who do this this would just drop it on the floor in their own house...Yeh! Some probably would.

Been going to the Vic for about 30 years, cant remember ever seeing a bin to be honest.

Then again i manage to go 2 hours without having to stuff my face or have a pint etc so never looked for one.

There are loads of wheely bins behind the Mill house stand, don,t know about the rest of the ground and by half time for some reason I.m always starving especially if we are winning

Cant see many people getting up from their seats etc during the game to walk behind the stand to put rubbish in a bin.

Is it still ok to rip the half time lottery tickets up into little pieces and throw them into the air?

You just have to look outside the ground on the approach from the pay and display car park, no bins and empty bottles and debris all over, unless the club can put bins in the passageways at the step entrances, then they are pissing in the wind!

stockport county who get slightly higher gates than pools have solved the problem of litter to a certain extent by putting heany duty plastic bags all round the front of their ground as well as the little bins provided. they are tied up and fan volunteers empty em at the end of the game. think that if its known that fellow fans do this then the problem could be lessened.

Fun fact: I've been to a whole load of places in Asia and I like the Japanese a lot, but they are the most littering bastards I have ever encountered.
It's almost like they feel obliged to leave weird sweet (WEIRD SWEET) wrappers on the ground wherever they go.

There are bins everywhere in Greatham and people still litter, upbringing and leading by example come to mind but if there were not any bins, do you think kids would take it home or dump it?

If you are asking people to help you out by not doing what they have done for the past 2 years without providing a recepticle near to them, then you are either on the council or drugged up!


Just move some of the big blue bins into the stand at the back of the stair wells and put signs up, simples!
