Youre right - 4 mins 46 secs on the video. Not sure it's Kennedy though - this fella's got a neck!

Spare us please the last thing we want is a player too old for football league who hardly played last season. Save a wage go with what we have. If wage not all spent it gives options later in the season.

Too old for the football league at 32!? He had a long term injury, a big operation on his pelvis that required over a year out, but all of his appearances last season came at the end so he has returned to fitness.

I think we need a bit more experience in the squad to be honest but midfield wise we need a proper DM who can break up play and get on the ball and keep it, Kennedy has always been more box to box hasn’t he? He’s a big lad who can bit himself about so he could mix it in this League. Not a bad player for me who’s had a good career which still probably has a few years left over 400 Football League appearances, most National League clubs would be happy with that sort of signing. I have an open mind he could have plenty to offer. We need a core of good experienced pros to get out of this League.

I reckon that Adam Bale will fill that role, I'm expecting big things from him this season.

BBC Cumbria Sport is reporting on Twitter that Kennedy is training with us.

Ah right, cheers for that. Watched another 2minute video this morning of their return to training and was pretty certain it was him so thanks for confirmation.

And ties in with it looking like Carlisle have beaten us to signing Tom White.
