Peaky Blinders.....

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

Coppers should let Grealish have a free sucker punch at this daft lad. Absolutely diabolical act, even ignoring the fact he's ran on the football pitch, who punches people from behind? Absolute coward.

Unfortunately the thousands of Birmingham fans who did behave themselves will probably be the ones who suffer from the actions of one.

I don’t see what Birmingham or indeed any club can do about incidents like this when all reasonable efforts are made to prevent it.
Lobotomised oafs like this can get on to any pitch and act like this.
Exemplary action must be taken by the courts to discourage this behaviour and I wouldn’t hesitate to impose a custodial sentence to send out a message to anyone making any contact with players or officials.
How fining or other actions against club or sanctions on innocent fans will change things is beyond me.
If someone runs onto a stage and assaults the actor, is the theatre closed and the audience banned from other theatres?
It’s what he does….. he’s a terrier.

Dock them 3 points. Name him and say it you want to blame anyone for this blame that mush.

They’ll soon stop cheering the 'lovely lovely person' then.

I get where you’re coming from but I’m I think docking a club points for the moronic actions of one individual is setting a dangerous precedent that is open to abuse or sabotage.

What needs looking at is the security inside stadiums because the players clearly aren’t safe with how things currently are, what was to stop him having a knife yesterday? You aren’t scanned or anything entering a football ground which is strange in the World we live in. The only way you can punish the clubs fairly is locking stadiums for games until they find a way to stop it. Also the book needs throwing at this idiot as a deterrent. Entering a football pitch has got to lead to an automatic lifetime ban and this bloke needs to serve a decent prison sentence as deterrent to anyone thinking this is a good idea in the future.

Whilst I don’t think it’s completely fair to punish a full club for the actions of 1 man it would act as a huge deterrent for it happening again.

Do fans really care if a club gets fined a bit of money?

Totaly agree, its not the clubs fault or the theatres fault its the individual who has to be hit hard , very hard!

They’d care about not being able to watch the next two home games, that’s a punishment that hits the fans but doesn’t compromise the integrity of the competition at the same time. It was one individual at the end of the day, he shouldn’t have been able to get on the pitch but if someone is willing to do that apart from returning to fences which hopefully we will never see again it’s very difficult to stop.

I was watching a documentary about the Paris terror attacks in November 2015 on Netflix last week and the only thing stopping suicide bombers entering the Stade de France that night was the fact they didn’t have tickets, frightening really.

and the longest sentence you can give out also. we all get wound up at games sometime in our lives by officials and opponents but the great majority would never go on the pitch to assault one and the sentence might put any other no brain from doing similar. a suspended sentance or fine would be seen as an encouragement to do it.
